Could someone tell me what size of picture should i use for startup screen ?

I'm not sure, but since the ingame menus are 800x600 pixels, that should be the size of the startup screen. But I've also seen 640x480 as well as 512x512 pixels, so I'm not sure at all really. If no one else knows, I suppose you'll left with the 'trial-and-error' method...
If I were to bet on it, I'd go with 512x512 since the game often uses those measurments (16x16, 64x64, 128x128, 256x256, 512x512).
