Tutorial: how to change the Jersey preview

Make backup of all your files

Programs
BigGUI
EAGraph
FshX

1º open EAGraph
2º go toFile> Open> jerseys.viv (in EA Sports/NBA Live 2005/fe/)
3º look to the jersey file you want to edit or change
in this tutorial we choose Detroit Away

4º Use Extract,and extract the file to a folder of your choice in this tutorial we choose (C:\Documents and Settings\{usuario}\Meus documentos\NBA\live 2005)

5º open bigGUI
6º go to File> Open > jerseys~dt~dt_away.big

7º click in dt_away.fsh

8º click in edit Export and Export to a folder of your choice we choose , (C:\Documents and Settings\{usuario}\Meus documentos\NBA\live 2005)

9º open FshX
10º File> Open> dt_away.fsh

11º click in the file 34(you will see the jersey preview )
12º click Texture> Export save as bmp
13º open the file in a phot editor (photoshop or paintshop etc..)

14º choose magic wand to change the transparency or open a new file in the photoshop with transparency = transparent and 256 pixels


15º we can change the original file with photoshop


16º save the modified file as .34PNG
17º open FshX
18º File> Open> dt_away.fsh
19º click in file 34
20º Texture> Import> 34.PNG
just type 34.png we cannot see the .png file in FSHX

21º look for some mistake

22º File> Save
23º open BigGUI
24º File> Open > jerseys~dt~dt_away.big
25º choose dt_away.fsh

26º Import in edit

27º import the file dt_away.fsh modified use rebuild until the numbers stop changing
28º close BigGUI
29º open EAGraph
30º open the file jerseys.viv( EA Sports/NBA Live 2005/fe/)
31º click in jerseys~dt~dt_away.big
32º Import Wizard

33º Next> Add> jerseys~dt~dt_away.big (modified)> Next> Finished
34º close EAGraph
35º open NBA Live 2005 load

no, just edit some jersey preview and import the new jersey
I make some new jerseys preview using the Front of the jersey

Yes, I hade problems with that to. But it is very simple, realy.
The first thing you do is open your image (I prefer .dds) then you open in photoshop your layers palet. Double click on the background layer, it will now change into a not locked layer named layer0 or so. Now you add an other layer, but place it under layer0. Now in layer0 you delete the background and it will change into transparnt. Final touch bringing the layers to getter.Do Layer->Merge Layers. Now do File->Save for Web and in there select in the preset drop down menu PNG-24, put a V in the checkbox Transparency, and press the save button.
Hoara, you just made your background transparent

I created a jersey for my new created team, but it seems as if it is not possible to create a jersey preview for that jersey.. (live crashes)

yes it's possible
i made some custom teams to the brazilian league and put jerseys previews for all
change one nba team for your custom team maybe works for you
ex:
change atlanta for your custom team
