Around the League

The Golden State Warriors have traded guard Derek Fisher to the Utah Jazz for Gordon Giricek. Fisher was unhappy with his situation in Golden State and having to be second to Baron Davis. The Utah Jazz are in desperate need of a point guard and so the trade was a perfect fit for both teams. Fisher was struggling coming off the bench for the Warriors and is glad to be in Utah. Gordon Giricek who is averaging 7.2 points per game will also be a good fit with the Warriors.

Trade Breakdown:

Webber's Triple-Double Boosts 76ers

Chris Webber got his first triple-double of the season to help the Philadelphia 76ers crush the Memphis Grizzlies at their home court. Allen Iverson's game-high 36 points and Andre Iguodala's solid 17 were also worthy mentionables. As for Memphis, Pau Gasol and Mike Miller led in scoring with 24 points a piece. With the win the 76ers are on top of the Eastern Conference with a 9-3 record.

Iguodala throws down 2 of his 17

By the way if I forgot to mention, Webber's stats in the triple double game were:
23 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists. Sorry for not mentioning this earlier, I can't believe I forgot to...

I don't know what you're talking about, Webber's assists average is about 1 MORE APG than his 04-05 stats this year and Dalembert's RPG aren't much less than in his 04-05 season average...anyways, thanks for the comment...
