Ridnour is a good PG to play with...

Allen and Lewis are worth their weight in gold, keep them.

Maybe you should package 2 or 3 other guys to get a decently rated PF/C , like troy Murphy, jamal Magloire or Eddy Curry.

yea i like Allen a lot, and Lewis is pretty good too. You definetly need a center. I like Evans and Fortson on the sonics... they are really good rebounders. basically you need some backups. The starting 5 is pretty good, except for the center.

i was thinking about a deal to bring in magloire - the hornets would get some more room for the new season and i got a pretty decent C

keep the PG's Ridnour and Daniels....they can be your PG duo....
keep Allen and Lewis....although if it was me, I'd probably look at moving Lewis....
I like your PF's (Rado, Collison and Fortson)....forget Reggie Evans, give him the flick
trade all your C's including Robert Swift
trade Ronald Murray....you don't need him, he's wasted in Seattle....

so basically deal Jerome James, Swift and Murray to upgrade the C spot at the very least....if you can handle giving up Lewis then do so....

either way, keep the white boyz (Ridnour, Collison and Rado)

Dan Gadziric is awesome and easy to get... above 90 in rebounds, he can block and steal and a low salary to carry.... a great backup center who can start on occasion...

On the center and power forward I always consider Okafor (Cha), Nene (Den), Cato e D. Howard (Orl), Magloire (NO) and Bosh (Tor)

For the small forward and shooting guard if you could get PENNY HARDAWAY he is a great player but is getting old...

If you want a younger one, try Josh Howard (Dal), Childress (Atl), Ben Gordon (Chi) or Dion Glover (Tor) and Andre Iguodala (Phi)

At point guard position I consider Alston a good starting that can steal, assist and even shoot from 3 point territory...

For bench point i would try Speedy Claxton (GS), Damon Jones (MIA) or Jameer Nelson (Orl)

But all that i ve just said I didnt consider the salary cap and overall, so you need to consider whats best for you

Get a solid C or PF that ask for little but produce high efficency, thus making full use of your accurate shooter outside...

The sonics with an overhaul of their post players, both starters & bench, are championship caliber. All the perimeter players are desirable either as players or trade bait. Ronald Murray is around 65-67ish and his contract is league minimum, ~670k. You're not going to find a better player per $ anywhere else.

The one player not to trade (in Live and IRL) is Lewis. 80+ jumping, 80+ dunking, 70+ 3 point & FG, 80+ speed/quick, 70+ dribbling, he can play SG with those #s and he's 6' 10".

I love his nickname around the locker room..."The Walking Mismatch".

Sonics Dynasty

Postby Impose on Thu May 26, 2005 6:41 pm

OK, I like the sonics situation.......

Allen, Potapenko, James, Fortson are all big contracts that are ending after ur 1st year.

The only other contract thats an issue is Daniels because as if you'd move Lewis.

So i'd trade Daniels to clear up maximum cap space (resign Allen hopefully for 6 or 7 years @ 10% increases per season and hell resign cheap.)

Package Daniels and Murray in the trade, you want a center so if you dont care about "realistic" trades go get Curry and Harrington from Chicago.

So youll have a starting lineup of Curry, Radmanovik, Lewis, Allen and Ridnour + a crap bench

Youll prolly get 5th or 6th in the draft and youll have enough space to sign Abdur Rahim (always available after 1st year) or Gasol if you score big

THEN YOULL BE UNSTOPPABLE!!!!

Ironically Sonics are going after SAR IRL.

I'm wondering if they should go after Antoine Walker...Ainge says he won't offer Walker more than $7M, that's only slightly more than Fortson and he doesn't even play that much for them.

And it's a team that runs a lot of plays for their forwards (Radmanovic/Lewis) to shoot the 3...Walker would be in heaven.

I've had that same lineup except with Devin Harris as PG instead of Paul.

It got so easy i had to just quit that dynasty.

This topic is old and dead but u should make a blockbuster trade. Ray Allen is great but his contract ends soon so I would trade him and Lewis, and you could pretty much get anyone you want. Brad Miller, Peja and perhaps Bibby would fill alot of holes.
C- Miller
PF- Radmanovic
SF- Stojakovic
SG- Daniels (He is interchangable and actually works best at SG)
PG- Bibby
6th: Murray

Sonics

Postby Arenas00 on Wed Jul 06, 2005 9:10 pm

Keep Allen he is a great 3-Pointer threat to opposing teams. Luke Ridnour is a good PG and so are his back up wings like Antonio Daniels and Ronald Murray. Reggie Evans is a great rebounder. Damien Wilkins is still young. Robert Swift is a back up center to... Jerome James. Nick Collison can shift to PF and Fortson and Radmanovic are very useful defenders. Im having second thoughts trade Allen. You might want to trade Rashard Lewis aswell for a bigger, more athletic forward/center. Rashard Lewis and Ray Allen for Quentin Richardson and Amare Stoudemire. And a blockbuster trade- Nick Collison, Danny Fortson, Vitaly Potapenko and Antonio Daniels for Elton Brand and Bobby Simmons

Center- Amare Stoudemire
Power Forward- Elton Brand
Small Forward- Bobby Simmons
Shooting Guard- Quentin Richardson
Point Guard- Luke Ridnour
6th Man- Reggie Evans
Forget 'being like Mike' - I wanna be like Gilbert
