Raptors smoke the Sonics for the 125-112 win

The Toronto Raptors win again and now improve to 5-1. They have won three straight road games. The absence of Hoffa didn't really matter. DerMarr finished with a 31 point night including 5 boards and 4 helpers.

Injury Report

One man back, one man gone. In the 1st quarter of the Seattle game, Toronto Power Forward Chris Bosh had to leave the game due to a back spasm injury. He would come back in the second half to finish off the game but will now be out for 8 days. On the other hand, Marshall is now at one hundred percent recovery and hope to take Bosh's place and start getting more points on the board.

Wed May 04, 2005 9:42 am

Wed May 04, 2005 10:06 am

I already did but what should my line-up be? Like I have three choices:

Woods, Marshall, Rose, Johnson, Alston
Marshall, Johnson, Rose, Peterson, Alston
Aaron Williams, Marshall, Johnson, Rose, Alston

Wed May 04, 2005 10:40 am

man i think u gotta turn ur steal sliders downnn, too many steals bro, i know its easy but turn it down a notch 38 steals combined in 2 games ?!?

Wed May 04, 2005 10:41 am

Lol! I know. Imma change it

Wed May 04, 2005 10:48 am

Yea things are getting a little out of hand with the stealing. It's starting to look like the players are super radioactive or something  Some of the other stats look pretty good though.

Lol. Maybe I should go to Superstar mode :?

Wed May 04, 2005 11:52 am

u said u r on superstar mode!

Wed May 04, 2005 12:04 pm

Hmm.... Good game, but another triple double with steals man... Pretty unrealistc, go to the sliders thread and check out some of the people's sliders, it could really make the game more challenging and less unrealistic.

When I meant "use Dermarr well" I didn't mean give him 31 points :P, but good stuff for him (Y). Start Woods, Marshall will get bulldozed as a fulltime centre and Aaron doesn't deserve to play :P.

man bring in pietrus and fisher. pietrus is awsome man, both defense and offense.

then after that trade someone for a decent centre

Thu May 05, 2005 7:04 am

I can now. BTW, my box score thing didn't work but Toronto won the game 105-85. They improve to 6-1. Sorry for forgettin the Box Score

Thu May 05, 2005 11:43 am

Who should I acquire now?

Thu May 05, 2005 12:18 pm

Get a friggin' centre, Dermarr may be 6'9, but he's too skinny and he's no power foward. Don't try to go all gung-ho and get someone like Big Ben, but try getting the Melvin Ely's, the Tony Batties, you know, backup-type centres that can be starting material.

Thu May 05, 2005 9:21 pm

How did you get Tony Battie. Like who did you trade?

Thu May 05, 2005 9:35 pm

Heh, you're going to have to check my dynasty to find out :P

Just kidding, it was Stevenson and Battie for Eric Williams, Palacio and Woods.

Fri May 06, 2005 5:49 am

Im gonna try that!

Stevenson and Battie for Eric Williams, Palacio and Woods

or

Marshall, Williams for Fisher and Pietrus
