Just in general spend a bit more time on backgrounds and use some brushing techniques. Check out www.good-tutorials for lots of great tutorials. And don't use the texturizer tool. I know it's tempting, but everyone can recognize it. And it shows a lack of graphical skill.

great thanks for the advice. Many of mine are requests. I go to good-tutorials.com great website. Yeah......I am trying to be more creative. Can you pick your fav sig out of the ones that I made for me. Many of the texturized ones were made when I first started using photoshop, I am now trying to be more creative, once again thanks for advice

Probably that an dthe one in your sig. But the basic way to do a brushed sig is...
To get some grunge brushes (check devinatart.com here http://browse.deviantart.com/resources/ ... psbrushes/ )
Make 4-5 layers
Bottom and top layer render clouds. Make the top invisible for now so you can seewhat you're doing on the lower layers.
On the 2-3 middle layers take your grunge brush and click various areas of your image (WITHOUT dragging it)
Now set all layers to various colours and set that top layer to visible again and change the blend mode to overlay/soft light/hard light. Experiment with all the blend modes.
Now stick your pics. etc. on top. (Y)

I tried for the first time using all the stuff under the Sketch and Artistic Tabs in PhotoShop. Well i got some pretty nice results, tell me what u guys think

I think you'd probably be best off getting a whole new sig done in a similar design, just because I think it'd be quite hard to make those edits (unless Fender uses the original file) or something. That being said, I'm not much good at this stuff.

5. put in nice letters "Turning the tide" YoG's New orleans Dynasty

that new Mega sig is way better than the 1st one.

btw, ive been messing around with photoshop quite a lot these days. this is one of the graphics i came up with :arrow:

its pretty simple but im cool with that since i prefer the simple style.

I still have the .psd (original file), so I'll get on that dweaver. Sorry, I've just had a lot of stuff going on currently. Look for it pretty soon, at the very latest it'll be this friday/weekend but I'm gunning for tomorrow.
