I do notice alot of the same people posting on both sites.. and to be entirely honest with you, it wasn't the fact that YOU made the thread that bothered me (about it appearing on both sites) I think I said a few times in other threads I got sick of spam threads (not that yours was) turning up on both sites (thank you nba_baller_50/50_Cent ) and those "Register And Win Money Now!" sites... either way, maybe I was a bit harsh but I guess that's my job>>

Just the fact that when I saw him play at the 2000 Olympics I thought he was one of the best things to possibly happen to basketball, I was constantly defending him at the old NLSC against people who thought he'd be a bust, and he hasn't really lived upto my own expectations but also the fact that he has too much talent to not be an awesome player. I know as a fan you'd already think he is an awesome player, but personally I don't like him because he's sort of wasting what he has. Plus some of his fans shit me.

I do see where you're coming from... it's true that he's not not Hakeem or Shaq averaging near 30 ppg right off the bat but he still IS a great player who will only get better and as an Asian who live in Houston it's natural for me to be a fan. And I also find many yao fans annoying but that can also be said about fans about other players (Kobe)...

Well yeah obviously every player has their idiot fans, without generalising I get the impression certain Yao fans don't really care about basketball at all, just him... which is a bit weird but still. I mean if we had an Aussie in the NBA (Bogut ) I'd be acting the same way I suppose. He also bombed on my fantasy team this season so there's another reason

Yeah, the problem with fantasy basketball is that it's so dependent on mpg and Yao's biggest flaw is his stamina and foul trouble which gets him minimal minutes... I wouldn't give up on him tho for fantasy purposes just yet though I have a feeling he'll average close to 36 mpg next year . Hey, wait a minute, wasn't this suppose to be a flame war?
