I saw this at Hiphopcartel. They did a pretty good job of finding a Tupac look-alike, teh smile is amazingly similar to his, as teh peanut-shaped head . They apparently couldn't find anyone who looked remotely like any of teh Outlawz though.

Few reasons:

a) people dick ride him way too much. Beyond a level of respectability.

b) he wasn't that good. Yes he was good, and I did in fact like his music at one stage but he really wasn't as great as people make him out to be. If he didn't die, he wouldn't be on this golden pedistool everyone wants to sit him on

c) he's dead. People need to get over it and stop suddenly announcing that he'll return tomorrow. Elvis fans have the same affect on me.

A can lead to a biased dislike of someone. If all you hear is "2Pac is teh GOAT" and you don't think so, maybe you defend your opinion a few times and are pointing out his flaws all the time. Now all you see are flaws. This happened to me with Jay0Z and 2Pac. I don't really like either of them that much. But I like Pac more than Jay.

2pac didn't suck, he was great (no mather if you're a rapfan or not), maybe not as great as he pictured nowadays but the fact still remains: he's one of the best (if not THE best) & most talented rapartist ever lived. I doubt that any rapper today (except Ice Cube) can messure up with his rapping skills.

Thing is Pac died at a very young age, and look at what he accomplished at such a young age...

Pac is definitely overrated though. Not saying that he's not teh GOAT, but I hear people say he was teh GOAT by far and no one came close, and that's complete bullshit. If Nas had been shot instead of Pac or biggie, many people would say he was teh GOAT (I actually think Nas' skill level is equal to that of Pac's, but always felt a stronger conection to what tupac rapped about as apposed to what Nas did).

That's what I'm saying tho look at Big L, he was a similar age to Pac when he got killed and he only made the one album and had a around 20 unreleased songs. Then you look at Pac and the material he had done in such a short time.
