I think a weakness you could add to Maggette is probably is his shot selection? I also think Kittles can hit the outside jumper, at least when he was with New Jersey anyway.

You should start with Bobby Simmons at SF and Maggette at SG

LA Clippers-Philadelphia 76'ers
Today I played the 76ers and this match I tried to get the sliders optimal so I could play well the rest of the games.

In the 1st Brand got hurt when he tried to make a Personal on Webber
Image

So my key player went off and then the run started Wilcox just could'nt handle webber and so the 76'ers got some space. Also I had'nt a PG who was almost as quick as Iverson so they made a gap of allmost 7 points. Maggette tried his best scoring 7 points in the 1st quarter but Still I trailed.

In the 2nd I could trust on Brand agian but I was down to much when he came back. The whole structure of the game was paced by the plays of Iverson,Iguodala and Webber and it broke me because I don't have so much good players to defend them.

The 76'ers took the game with fine tuned team play and on my side players like Chalmers, livingston could'nt make a contribution.

Trading time
Today the Los Angeles Clippers and the Houston rockets come to a Deal bringing Simmons,Livingston and Kittles to the Rockets in exchange for Mutombo,Mike James and David Wesley.

Comments from YoG! about the trade:
we got rid of some players I could'nt really use in both offense and defense. I think we got 2 good shooters back who can also sink the outside shot and a great rebounder, blocker.

The new starting 5 for the Clippers:

C Chris Kaman age: 22 + Blocks - Speed
Image
PF Elton Brand Age: 25 + Shot - Can't Block
Image
SF Corey Maggette Age: 24 + Moves - ?
Image
SG David Wesley Age: 33 + Shot- speed
Image
PG Mike James Age:29 + shot - ?

 arggh!!!!

that deal was bad....Mutombo will retire after this season, Wesley is an ageing undersized SG and James is a one-dimensional PG....and you gave up a future star PG in Livingston and an improving SF Bobby Simmons....

The Rockets really ripped you off there... They get a great PG prospect, a 10 m expiring contract and a greatly improved SF, while you get two 35 year olds and a backup PG. Your choice, though..

EDIT: Man, X, do we think alike... Must be the age thing...

Miami Heat- LA Clippers

Playing without Brand Is really hard cause Inow only have 1 Star in Maggette. but luckily my 2 of my new players found there way of scoring.
I lost the game by 3 points but Ilost from a championship team and even without my biggest star. maybe were gonna make the playoffs.

Possible Trade
Cicago Suggested me the following Trade:

ImageImageImage
Curry(21 years old)+Piatkowski(34 years old)+Pargo(25 years old)
ImageImageImage
Mutombo(38 years old)+Wilcox(22 years old)+Ross(23 years old)
I'm not sure if I should do this. I would give me the following team:

C Curry
PF Brand
SF Maggette
SG Wesley
PG James
6. Kaman
7. Jaric
8.Kaas
9.Piatkowski
10. Pargo
11. N' Diaye
12. Chalmers

yeah, I'd do that trade....shame about the other trade though, but yep, I'd do this one because it is essentially a Curry for Wilcox swap (because Mutombo is retiring, and the others are scrubs)....

LA Clippers - Charlotte Bobcats

I hoped to test my new players in this game but after 4 minutes of play my 2nd star got hurt Maggette got a back injury adn could'nt play on so Curry was on his own.

The whole game curry tried to take over the game but that's hard when Brand and Maggette both got an injury. He played ok but still he could'nt turn the tide.

The first trade you made, in my opinion was completely terrible. You got rid of AMAZING young guys in Simmons, Livingston and a pretty big expiring contract that will free up a lot of space, and you got an undersized shooting guard, an average point guard and an aging defensive centre..... (N)

The second trade at least somewhat made up for it, since Curry is a little better than Wilcox and Pargo and Piatkowski can hit some shots. (Y)

Good luck on your dynasty though....

Well, we have to remember that we are talking about the Clippers here... They could have traded Elton Brand for Tractor Traylor and I wouldn't even have batted an eyelid... Here's for keeping this dynasty realistic...

Team is'nt strong enough for the playoffsan analyzation of the clippers team

After losing games from Sacremento,Boston and Phoenix I could see that the team is'nt not what I want it to be to play for a possible championship so I decided to analyze the team and look for the weak links.

CEddy Curry
Image
He's a young Center who loves to make an Inside powermove and go for the dunk. Is also pretty good in passing and I think he can be a good part of the team to help Cory and Elton out a bit. Can score fro 10 to 25 points a game so he's one of my main guys.

PFElton Brand
Image
This guy is so good he loves to make a hook shot or a normal shot when he's open. Even when he had a barely healed broken wrist he could score like 15 points a game. This is my star If the opponent has a weaker PF he can score like 25 points.

SFCory Maggette
Image
Qiuck and not selfish SF he can go for the shot make a drive or even assist the ball. He scores for about 20 points a game and dishes some assists so for sure important.

SGDavid Wesley
Image
Is one of the weakest links in my team. He cant play as a SG because he get's blocked often by taller SG so sometimes he can play as an PG. I think he's contributes not to much to my game of basketball so Yes all of you who said it were right he is'nt a very good player.

PGMike James
Image
Somebody said he's only one dimensional and I'm sure he ment that well but at the time Mike James reported to his new club the Clippers he's been playing well scoring 10 points a game scoring improtant 3's and dishing. I cant say he's my "Star" but for sure he's a usefull guy for the playoffs.

6Eric Piatkowski
Image
A very usefull guy to have on this clippers team'. he contributes with almost 7 points a game coming of the bench. Ok, he's old but he's gonna be usefull for the playoffs.

7Mamadou N'Diaye
Image
Also a good solid center. He's also one of my better benchies. He scores 5 points a game and grabs 5 rebounds. He i'nt very old 2 so I can use him later on in my dynasty 2.

The rest of my benchies are'nt that good. Players like Kaman,Chalmers,Jaric. I don't know whta to do about it if ya'll know trades call me.

Trades
I like this trade I made, Maybe you don't but I do.

I Talked alot with the Atlanta Hawks because I was interested in Josh Smith being my Role player to help Maggette and the rest of the team so I offered the following.

------------------
Wesley + Pargo
Smith + Ekezie
------------------
And they accepted it. I'm very happy because I now have a tall Rookie who can grow on in the rest of the dynasty.

Possible trades
If you know some guy I could trade for one of the following players tell me.

Kaman,Chalmers,Brunson,Jaric
