I wanna get Vince Carter,Steve Nash & Josh Smith to da New Jersey Nets but when evr I trade dey decline..Could u plz tell me which players do I hav 2 trade to get dese players...& I dont wanna trade Kidd or Richardson

He is, but he won't be in NBA Live 2005 unless he's using a roster patch or has updated the rosters in his game by himself.

And whos richardson?

I'm assuming he means Richard Jefferson, unless he's already acquired Jason Richardson. VC 15 ROX, you'll need to post your roster before anyone can make any informed suggestions.

you might be able to get Josh Smith, but steve nash will be tough. Nash's got a pretty big contract, and you don't seem to have anyone who can match that. Eric Williams and Aaron Williams' salary will add up to about 9-10 mil, but you probably need to trade them to a team that wants them for a player in the low 70's hopefully. Then use that player and another one... or two, to get Nash, hopefully. As for Josh Smith, just trade like 3 players in the 50's or 60's. You probably need to sign a few FA. It's gonna be tough. A lot of teams like J.Collins, but without him, you won't have any centers left...

lol, you don't have the money to get carter. Unless you trade either Kidd, Jefferson, or Nash if you get him. You will have to make a choice. Usually you should be able to get all the players you want, but the Nets just have a really weak roaster, other than Kidd and Jefferson, i'm not trying to say anything bad about the nets, they are pretty good. but....

well, the thing is, other than your main guys, you need guys in the 60's. But the nets don't have many, if any, of those guys. Even in real life, you don't see anybody scoring other than carter and kidd, or jefferson. on top of that, you also need over paid players. you wouldn't believe this, but they can be useful sometimes, especially when it comes to balancing out the trade cap.

You dont know what FA means so I assume you are a newbie to the Live games and team management in general... so from this assumption, I will give you a a basic tutorial:

if you want a team of Kidd, Jefferson, Carter, Nash, and Smith.... go to opening screen after you start the game. Then go into Team Management and then into Roster Management. From there make all the trades you want without worries for salary and ratings and such... You can trade Kevin Garnett for Eric Williams if you want, it will be accepted.

Then all you have to do is start a new dynasty with the Nets. And there you have it, your dream team in a dynasty. Have fun.

(If you knew this already, sorry I am just trying to help)

Or in your Dynasty, just open players.dbf and edit the players teams like I did with one trade.

The X is right on this one... Not all of us cheat...

And it isn't too gratifying to create a super team and just win all the games without any problems... It just blows. It's fun for the first couple of games, but gets boring very fast.

The best is taking a very bad team and working it into a contender... That's always sweet...
