Nice work indeed. I managed to get a QD in NBA Live 2004 but haven't gotten close to it in NBA Live 2005.

I got a QD twice with my created player about 20-30 pts, 12 & 10 reb, 15 & 11 asst, 19 & 11 stls

I did it once with Steve Nash 20 pts 10 reb 15 asst 11 stls

I also got a quadruple double with Allen Iverson. Have a look at the stats.

I would post the real box score, but I do not know how to. I tried to copy and paste, but it did not work, so here are the stats.

Iverson-31 points, 21 assists, 15 rebounds, 10 steals.

The team had a total of 139 points in that game, it was agianst the pacers. I blew them out! They only managed 96 points.

I only got mines with Nash because I actually play with 12 minute quarters but, I did have the 10 rebs at the half. I use him most of the time and double team alot so I end up around the basket for misses. I probably would have gotten one on 8 min quarters because I get alot of steals from DTing.

It shouldn't be too hard actually if you play 4x12 and really focus on that player.

Speaking of Iverson, everytime I play against him, he ALWAYS comes near a triple-double...

But I also notice something else... during dynasty season 4, he is 31 or 32 years old I think... he now averages 14 points per game... Willie Green gets 16 and 2 other starter get near 20 - thats with Andrew's roster patch... did anyone else notice this?

Also during dynasty season 4, Kobe Bryant (28 or 29 yrs old) averages about 17 points a game... anyone notice this?

Over my history with the NBA Live series, I have achieved a couple triple doubles from Grant Hill and Bo Outlaw from NBA Live 2000 and one quintuple-double by Penny Hardaway in Simulation mode in NBA Live 95 on my Super Nintendo. He was so fatigued by the end of the game, I didn't think he could of gotten that final block in the closing seconds to get it. But he had something like:

19 PTS, 12 REB, 13 AST, 11 STL, and 10 BLK. (I don't remember the exact numbers since it has been a very long time)

I've gotten one in '05, with T-mac. Kinda upset that Marv and Mike didn't fly of their chairs and actually said something fun.

Blech.

in game commentary sucks. they need to take some of the craziness of the dunk contest commentary and bring it into the regular gameplay. nothing interesting is ever said in regular games.

Atleast you get some kind of recognition when you score (?) a triple-double.

Wow! :P I rarely get a triple-double when playing in 7-min. quarters. Getting a quadruple-double in 8-min. quarters is quite an achievement. (Y)
