The guys on the list of the list that are missing the season are guys who in the real NBA have come across season-ending injuries(as of April 3). And for some reason I forgot to make Karl Malone retired so he signs with the Hawks.

As for where i started from its obvious.

"At the time I start the game date is March 6, 2005"
I am starting this dynasty on this thing at THAT date.

Player Report: Alex Buckley

Postby Buckley on Tue Apr 19, 2005 5:55 am

PLAYER REPORT: ALEX BUCKLEY

We have all heard about him. Hes been the most exciting rookie in the league so far. Coming out of Hershey, PA, the rookie wuz unheard of until a very observant scout came to chocolatetown for a vacation to HersheyPark. There he saw this kid with amazing basketball skillz and told the team all about him. Then the next day, the scout signed him for 5 years and 18 million, and wuz promoted to head scout.

So far he has a stat line of 19.9 PPG, 5.8 RPG, 4.6 APG, 1.58 SPG, and .5 BPG. His average of 3 off. rebounds/game is tied for 9th in the league.

He also can dunk click here to see him perform a between the legs twice dunk while practicing at his friends college campus, the university of Florida.

People thought the Hornets would be one of the worst teams in the league. But with him, the Hornets have been a surprising 30-29 and currently hold the 8 spot in the west.

Buckley currently has won all 4 "West Rookie of the Month" awards and wuz one of the top 2 canditates for rookie of the year until...

BREAKING NEWS

On March 2, in New Orleans, the Charlotte Bobcats came to town. The surging New Orleans Hornets had won 7 of 8 and looked to make a run at possibly 50 wins before tonight. Late in the 4th quarter, when the Bobcats held a slim one point lead, Buckley drove to the basket and made it with a foul but was hit hard by Emeka Okafor. The fans were excited but then they got quiet seeing there franchise player go down. But the Hornets would use that as motivation as they cruise on for there 8th win in 9 games for a 94-88 win.

But the injury report would not be good. It turns out that Buckley had a sprained thumb and would be out for the rest of the regular season. And with that goes most likely the Hornets playoff hopes and a shot at Rookie of the Year.

Game Report: Sixers at Heat

Postby Buckley on Tue Apr 19, 2005 10:02 am

SIXERS 115
HEAT 118

Sixers can't come through in clutch, Iverson injured

With the teams wearing retro uniforms, the Sixers could not come home with the win tonight, despite Miami missing some clutch free throws, they could not find a way to win. Miami made all the shots they needed to make for a 118-115 win. Sam Dalembert was great tonight. He had 18 points, 17 rebounds, and 9 blocks but it wasnt enough. Allen Iverson had only 18 points and had to leave early in the 4th quarter. He did not return.

Player of the Game: Shaq had 26 points and 8 rebounds to lead the Heat.

Key Stat of the Game: FT Attempts Miami 60 Philadelphia 30

INJURY REPORT

The game we just saw was one of the 10 most physical games in the NBA this year. Players were pushing and creating hard fouls all over the place. 4 players sustained injuries. The injuries and what happened are following.

HEAT
Michael Doleac. In the 1st quarter, the backup center got hit hard when filling in for Shaq. Thankfully for the heat, who lost Alonzo Mourning just the day before, Doleac has a back muscle strain and will be injured for 3 days. He is expected to play.
Dwayne Wade. Wade was injured in the 2nd quarter. Even though he continued to play, doctors told the NBA that Wade has a broken nose and will be out for 10 days. Keeyon Dooling is expected to start while Wade is injured.

SIXERS
Andre Iguodala. Right after Dwayne Wade got injured, Iguodala became the victim. He returned later in the game and has a bruised calf muscle which will keep him injured for 3 days. With several other injuries on the roster he is expected to play and start.
Allen Iverson. This couldn't be worse for the Sixers. They already lost Jamal Mashburn for the rest of the season and Willie Green until the playoffs start and Andre Iguodala was injured. Early in the 4th, he went down hard and had to be helped off the floor. The injury report was very bad. Iverson has a broken bone in his foot and is gone for 5 weeks. Sarunas Jasikievicius will replace Iverson as the starting point guard.

Comments Appreciated.

BOBCATS 127
SIXERS 132(OT)

Short-handed Sixers win over Bobcats

Before we tell you about the game, we have to bring up the uniforms. Since people hate the orange colors on the road, the Bobcats switched to blue uniforms to wear when they do not play in Charlotte. Anyways, back to the game. Kyle Korver hit a 3 pointer with 1.1 seconds left to force overtime as the sixers won 132-127.
"Big win for us," said Korver. "I had to step up my game because of the injuries and foul trouble and thats what i did."

Player of the Game: Korver He had 31 points while shooting 3-9 from behind the arc. He also had 4 steals and 4 assists.

Key Stat of the Game: Free throws Charlotte 27-40 Philadelphia 36-41.

Chris Paul Top 5 pick.
Chris Taft Probably a lottery pick.
Jawad Williams An Early 2nd round pick.
Ryan Gomes Will be picked sometime in the 2nd round.
Alan Anderson Late 2nd round pick. Could be undrafted.
Andrew Bogut Probably the number 1 pick.
Antoine Wright Mid-1st rounder.
Brandon Bowman Probably undrafted.
Chevon Troutman Late 2nd round pick.
Daniel Ewing Probably an Early 2nd round pick.
Deron Williams Likely a top 5 pick.
Francisco Garcia A late first rounder.
Philip "Hot Sauce" Champion Former And1 baller could take his game to someone late this season.
Ike Diogu Possibly a top 20 pick.
Nemanja Aleksandrov A top 10 pick.
Salim Stoudamire A very good Early 2nd rounder.
Sean May A top 20 pick.
Wayne Simien Good late 1st rounder who will have to put that bucknell game behind him.

Those are all the people I have put in. I would appreciate it if people could give me more cyberfaces of other players(so I could put them in the game, I'm not doing any faces, takes too much time)

Game Report: Lakers at Sixers

Postby Buckley on Thu Apr 21, 2005 1:19 pm

LAKERS 122
SIXERS 119

SIXERS BLOW IT
And yet another injury for the Sixers

Wearing retro uniforms from the 1950's, the Sixers had one of the biggest collapses of the season. Leading 70-44 at the half, the Sixers were putting in the bench players, thinking it was over. But the Lakers had a plan. They kept cutting down at that lead with clutch shots here and there. Kobe Bryant hit a 3 with 1.3 seconds left. Then Kyle Korver's shot was blocked.
"That was freakin horrible. There will be big changes next game," said an angry Jim O'Brien.
In the loss Sarunas Jasikevicius had 51 points, but it wasn't enough.

Player of the Game: With Andre Iguodala sitting on the bench with foul trouble, Kobe Bryant had 43 points on 18-28 shooting.

Key Stat of the Game: 2nd half FG pct Lakers 65% Sixers 40%

Kobe Bryant hits this jumper, cutting the lead to three.
Brian Grant gives the Lakers their first lead of the game.
Kyle Korver ties the game.
Lamar Odom hits this key shot.
Sam Dalembert about to slam this dunk down from Jannero Pargo.
Rodney Rogers and Chris Mihm collide.

Oh, and before you see the last screenshot, heres an important story

Webber injured
After getting injured nights earlier, Chris Webber went down in the first quarter against the Lakers and missed the rest of the game. Fortunately for the Sixers, who are totally short-handed, found out that Webber would not miss any additional games.

Chris Webber is injured on this play.

Comments Appreciated. Don't forget to read the scout article.

Today was a very good day for Samuel Dalembert. In one of his top performances this season, he finished with a career-high 29 points, 8 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 2 steals on 14-18 shooting matching up against Ben Wallace.
It was a true team effort all together, as Dalembert was one of 7 Sixers scoring in double figures. Marc Jackson had 16. Chris Webber had 19 points and 11 boards. Iguodala chipped in with 13. Sarunas had 18 points in 17 minutes. Kyle Korver had 15, while Jannero Pargo had a great day with 10 points and 10 assists.

O'Brien, "Pargo will start."

With the injury to Kyle Korver, the 76ers had to make changes to the starting lineup. There would be one bench player who would have to step up for the rest of the season and make a start. We listened in to coach Jim O'Brien during a press conference...
"We have had mant injuries on our team. Its like we get banged up every game. But looking back at how the players have done recently, we have announced that Jannero Pargo is the new starting point guard. Sarunas Jasikevicius will move to shooting guard, and Andre Iguodala will move to small forward."

RAPTORS 108
SIXERS 113

Short-handed Sixers beat Toronto

Jannero Pargo woke up this morning knowing that he would have to adjust to something. For only the 2nd time in his young career, he would be starting. In his first game doing this he managed 21 points and 8 assists in a pleasant performance. He was able to hit the free throws down the stretch as the Sixers won.

Player of the Game: Despite not scoring in the 4th, Chris Webber had 22 and 11 for player of the game.

Key Stat of the Game: Rebounds PHI 44 TOR 34

SIXERS 128
SUNS 121

Sixers hang on.
Offensive boards at end of game helped.

Before the game started, Coach O'Brien made some lineup changes. In a 85-72 loss to the Sacramento Kings, Sam Dalembert had only 3 points. So the coach put rodney rogers in the starting lineup and moved chris webber to center.
"Stoudemire is not a true center, so webber will play there tonite,"said O'Brien.
The game itself was very very exciting. Steve Nash did everything he could, but his teammates let him down. On the other side, the Sixers did not have a huge performance by anyone, but had a big team effort. Iguodala had 23, Sarunas and Rogers had 20. Webber had 19 and 11. Pargo got 12 and 6 dimes.

Player of the Game: Doing everything he could, Steve Nash had a career-high 50 points on 15-22 shooting and made all of his 17 free throws. But the rest of the team letdown and he only had 6 assists.

Key Stat of the Game: Off. Boards PHI 19 PHO 6

Pargo with the steal.

Thats all I have for this game. Comments appreciated.

SIXERS 141(OT)
Webber, Davis get job done with many injuries in game
In one of the biggest games of his career to date, rookie Josh Davis stepped his game up.
He had a career-high 22 points and a career-high 9 assists and drained some clutch free throws as the 76ers got a big win today against the Dallas Mavericks.
"I just needed to step up," said Davis. "We had few players available, and Coach was able to count on me to get some baskets.
The game was incredibly close, with no team leading by anymore than 7 points. At the end of regulation, Jannero Pargo's shot with .4 didn't go as we went into an extra session.
It was 139-136 for a while when Josh Davis made two free throws. Jerry Stackhouse's three didn't go, and that was it.

Player of the Game: Chris Webber had 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 blocks and he is the player of the game.

Key Stat of the Game: Assists PHI 23 DAL 8 Josh Davis had more than the entire Dallas team (9).

Screenshots

Jason Terry throws up the wild shot for two of his 40 points.
Webber hits the big shot and the foul. Dirk would foul out in OT, which turned out to be a big impact for the rest of the game.

INJURY REPORT
Many players were injured in the game today. The players, what they injured, and how long they will sit out are below.

SIXERS
Andre Iguodala.
Iggy went down early in the fourth quarter. He was able to return but after the game doctors diagnosed him with a sore thumb. He will be out for 12 days. Coach O'Brien has yet to decide a new starter.

MAVERICKS
Michael Finley.
Finley was hurt in the 2nd quarter and did not return. Doctors diagnosed him with a broken finger. He will play hurt for 11 days. Avery Johnson has yet to decide whether Finley will start or if Jerry Stackhouse will.
Erick Dampier.
Dampier was injured in the 3rd, limping on one knee but eventually returning. He has a sprained ankle and is out for 12 days. Their coach will probably take DJ Mbenga off the injured list and he will play if needed.

WHAT THEY LOOKED LIKE WHEN THEY WERE INJURED:

Andre Iguodala
Erick Dampier
Michael Finley

That's it. A new starting lineup will be announced next.

Those are all the people I have put in. I would appreciate it if people could give me more cyberfaces of other players(so I could put them in the game, I'm not doing any faces, takes too much time)

A while ago, I had made some cyberfaces for players appearing in the NBA Draft. However, to make it more complete, I have been trying to get all the possible lottery picks in my draft. I would request a cyberface of any of the following:
Marvin Williams
Fran Vasquez
Danny Granger
Raymond Felton
Tiago Splitter
Joey Graham
Johan Petro
Martell Webster
Rashad McCants
Charlie Villanueva
Rudy Fernandez
Hakim Warrick
Jarrett Jack
Channing Frye
I also need a player portrait for Gerald Green.

It would be appreciated if i could get cyberfaces/player portraits for all of these players.
