nah, it's all good coolmac, you gotta go with the hand that is dealt you....I can't really talk anyway as my sister helped me get my current job as was struggling to find a job with my degree and no experience....

and I wouldn't mind finding some hot biatch whose parents can hook me up although then again, I've never been good at taking things for free

but back to the topic, wisdom_kid, tell us your current options/choices and the pros and cons of each choice....you'll probably answer your own question when answering this....

I was also thinking of Biomedical Engerneering. its a good thing which includes both Computers and Medical crap. So i am happy both ways. So i think i chose my career, but now i just have to work hard and improve my marks, i should stop hanging around my drugged friends now.

"sales/cellphone shop"... what do you do, you are a Globe distributor (like 99% of all Filipinos) where you can transfer text load to other cell phone and make a 1 peso commission (1 peso is $0.02!)

But seriously Coolmac, I love Makati, nice place to visit... don't know about living there but nice place...

And to answer the first guy who posted: Stop going to all those bs career orientation classes... Most 25 year old don't know what they really want to do for a career... in fact most succesfull 40 year old still don't know! Its because you have multiple interests and passions, and you will have multiple careers and job positions in multiple industries over a 25 year career.

And like everyone else said - its who you know; not what you know - so ge the degrees but meet people and develop MANY friendships!

yeah goldberg....the economic slump our country is suffering now is pushing people to strive even for the last peso.....or centavo....i never get my airconditioning repaired in my car anymore.....that way i was able to save gas up to 20%......i never travel during noontime to avoid the heat.....
makati is not a good place to live IMHO.....big city so much smoke......
the only good side is having an aircon condo and have a go at the many party places around here.......
