Hawks trailed by 14 points, 77-63 against the Sixers going to the last period. Hawks slowly crawled back in the game and cut the deficit to 6 points with 4 minutes left. And with just a minute to go, Sixers lead was down to only 4 points but Hawks unable to make baskets when it counted the most. Iverson, on the other hand, made big basket and preserved their lead. Sixers handed the Hawks their 4th straight loss, 98-92.

Hawks Players Participating in the All-Star Festivities
This will be a busy All-Star Weekend for some Hawks players. Both Josh Smith and Josh Childress will be playing for the 2nd straight year for the Rookies-Sophomore game as a Sophomore reserves. Russel Santos will be on the other side, starting as a point guard for the Rookies Team. Josh Smith will also compete for the Slamdunk Competition while Russel Santos will try his luck on the 3-point Shootout. Al Harrington was named All-Star reserve for the East team.

Again, Hawks facing a deficit going to the 4th period, this time it a 78-69 deficit. The Bucks extended the lead to 14 points, thanks to Redd hot shooting. But Hawks made a run to cut the deficit to 5 points, 94-89 with 3:30 left. Bucks put the lead back to 8 points. Hawks made a last push to win the game and made it a 1-point lead with 3.4 seconds left. Fortson then made 2 free-throws to seal the game, 105-102. Hawks now on a 5 game losing streak going to the All-Star break.

Hawks holds a 3 point lead, 72-69 with 1 quarter left in the game. Blazers made a run early in the 4th period and grabbed a 5 point lead. Hawks then played catch-up game most of the period. They managed to make it 1-point deficit with 4 minutes left. Both teams traded baskets and it was a see-saw battle. In the last minute of the game, Hawks made a big stop and scored on the next possession to go up by 3 points, 93-90. it all down on making free-throws in the end game and luckily Hawks able to escape a 1-point win, 95-94 to snap their 5-game losing skid.

The Hawks trailed by 5 points, 64-59 in a low scoring game. Hawks tried to tie the game but Jing Xu made timely basket to every time Hawks made a run. Nuggets still hold a 5-point lead midway of the quarter. Hawks then made it a 2 point deficit going to the last 2 minute of the game. Then Carmelo Anthony took over the game and helped the Nuggets pull away by taking a 12 point lead. Hawks never recovers and lost the game, 94-84 to finish the month of February with a 1-3 record.
