Glad you liked it, but it's not really my idea. I got it from X who uses it in his Bobcats dynasty. (Y)

Thanks. Yes, I have finished the regular season.
Soon offseason draft, transactions, and high expectations for the next season. :)

Damn. Where did the season go?

OFF-SEASON

Draft Lottery

July 2
1st New Orleans Hornets
2nd Atlanta Hawks
3rd Utah Jazz
4th Charlotte Bobcats
5th Chicago Bulls
6th Milwaukee Bucks
7th Seattle SuperSonics
8th Toronto Raptors
9th Los Angeles Clippers
10th Ney York Knicks
11th Washington Wizards
12th Memphis Grizzlies
13th Golden State Warriors
14th Portland Trail Blazers

There was no surprises in this year draft, except Bobcats, which received only 4 draft position, although they had the second worst result in the league. Hornets were happy because they saved the first position, Hawks were also happy because they rised up one position. I was very happy, because Utah Jazz didn't get lower than 4th draft position. Other teams have got predictive positions.

Resign Players

After the season 4 of my players became free agents:
Image Andrei Kirilenko
Image Keith Van Horn
ImageRaja Bell
Image Raul Lopez

Of course I resigned Andrei Kirilenko to a multiyear extension. He is the leader of my team and player with great potential.
I was thinking about other players either to resign or not, but when I knew that not many players are going to become free agents, I decided to resign Keith Van Horn for 4 years.
Raja Bell wanted to be resigned for 7 years. I think that it is very long term, the more especially as he is not progressing any more, so I didn't resign him.
I also didn't resign with Raul Lopez, because he didn't played well previous season, and I' going to draft better player at PG position.

NBA Draft

July 24
Image The 3rd pick. Utah Jazz drafted Corey Beatty (Ovrl 68)
Image The 33th pick. Utah Jazz drafted Takahiko Tian (Ovrl 57)

Other great picks:
1st pick. New Orleans Hornets - T. Barkley (Ovrl 72)
2nd pick. Atlanta Hawks - A. Probst (Ovrl 70)
4th pick. Charlotte Bobcats - R. Norris (Ovrl 68)
5th pick. Chicago Bulls - C. Farlow (Ovrl 62)
6th. pick. Milwaukee Bucks - C.Dieng (ovrl 63)

Sign Free Agents

I didn't sign any players, because I was able to sign only players with minimal salary.

Here is the list of big off-season signings:
Image Atlanta signed Bonzi Wells
Image Charlotte signed Cuttino Mobley
Image Charlotte signed Damon Stoudamire
Image New Orleans signed Glenn Robinson
Image Milwaukee signed Austin Croshere
Image Milwaukee signed Jason Kapono
Image New Orleans signed Primoz Brezec
Image Charlotte signed Brendan Haywood

Other signings are not so important as these, so I won't write down here.

Trade Players

New Orleans Hornets and Miami Heat did a deal
Image Chris Andersen is going to Miami.
Image Rasual Butler is going to New Orleans.

Minnesota Timberwolves also made some changes in their line-ups
Image Trenton Hassel will play in Indiana.
Image Jeff Foster will play in Minnesota.

I also traded one player. It is Howard Eisley. I noticed that some players' contracts will expire after this season, so I decided to trade Howard Eisley, whose contract is long and huge. I found a player that I can trade Howard Eisley on him.
Toronto was interested at PG position and I offered to trade Howard Eisley in exchange of Alwin Williams.
Image Howard Eisley for Image Alwin Williams.
His contract will expire after this season so I saved about 6 millions $ :!: I'm happy after this trade.

Another post will be about start of the new season and posible trades.

Here are the stats of Utah Jazz

I think that team results are not very good, so I need some changes in my rosters. I think that my team needs a new player in SG position, because although Giricek is playing good, I think that he is not Utah's player of the future. The second reason is Keith Van Horn. He is good player but he is constrained to play from the bench. I think he is worth to play at starting five. So I found some teams which doesn't have good SF, and have good SG.

1st possible trade:
Image Keith Van Horn and Image Gordan Giricek
for
Image Larry Hughes

2nd possible trade:
Image Keith Van Horn and Image Gordan Giricek
for
Image Andre Iguodala and one player with the expiring contract

3rd possible trade:
Image Keith Van Horn and Image Gordan Giricek
for
Image Manu Ginobili and perhaps Nazr Mohamed

Keith Van Horn ( Ovrl 75, Salary - 6,32 Millions for 4 years )
Gordan Giricek ( Ovrl 68, Salary - 4,00 Millions for 3 years )
Larry Hughes ( Ovrl 77, Salary - 9,03 Millions for 6 years )
Andre Iguodala ( Ovrl 77, Salary - 2,11 Millions for 3 years )
Manu Ginobili ( Ovrl 81, Salary - 7,43 Millions for 5 years )

I need all of yours help which trade to do. Which one would be the most realistic?
