Alright, I think we've had enough time for this weeks task so as of now the Mass Debate is officially closed. I'd like to thank everyone who participated, you guys really made something of it when I didn't really think it'd be all that successful. Now, for something a bit different...
PLEASE READ IN FULL
I haven't told anyone about this, it's about the only NRS thing I've been able to keep secret from people I'm friends with

but now, the people who were elected Team Leader for this week must do the following...

Go to your relevant debate thread, and select
3 individual posts from your entire teams participation in that thread. Those 3 posts will represent your team in the Mass Debate voting. The posts you select is entirely upto you, but once you've done this can you PM the selections to The Host. By that, I mean you can just quote it and paste it in a PM or if it involves a fair bit of BBCode just hit "Reply With Quote" on the relevant post and copy/paste everything that appears in the box. So in simpler terms...
Each team leader must pick
3 posts by their team in their debates. These posts will be what represents your team in the debate voting.
The reason behind this is that a few people I've spoken to said that the threads were too long and boring for them to read in their entireity, so a way to counteract that for me would be to shorten it down to something more readable so the voting would be as fair as possible. That being said, in a debate you only get 3 goes at saying something each anyways. Once again, any problems don't hesitate to ask but can we get this done as quickly as possible, thanks.
Team Leaders:
Team Darko - Riot
Team Weis - Dweaver
Team Yinka - Drex
Team Kemp - IndyPacers
Team Artest - Jowe
Team Rodman - cyanide (you guys didn't let me know so I picked one)
That being said, the whole team can decide if you want... whatever's quickest.
Fri Apr 15, 2005 6:34 pm
cool twist. and i agree that the long threads are a bitch to read...
Fri Apr 15, 2005 10:39 pm
Yeah, Cyanide would've been my pick for leader anyways.
Sat Apr 16, 2005 12:45 am
What a pitty that I am not the leader... I would select three quotes of myself.
Sat Apr 16, 2005 1:32 am
Alright, Team Rodman's was sent in. We had a lot of good arguments, so kudos to the team!

I don't wanna be leader... (
)
Pff.Alright, Team Rodman's was sent in. We had a lot of good arguments, so kudos to the team!
Let's hope the rest of the NLSC feels the same way. For a while I contemplated quitting. Not too sure why though.

Jackal, when I said I don't want to be the leader I meant it. But now the leaders were chosen, that's why I said that. And it shouldn't be more than a joke.
Sat Apr 16, 2005 3:02 am
You're right, you're a joke. I should've known that by now. Apologies.

Boy, Jackal, the time I see you post a good comment about another forum member would be THE day...
The day hell freezes over...

To judge me after being here for 4 months.
The people I'm nice to know I'm nice. Why would I be nice to people I don't like? Isn't that being fake? Nice = shoutouts thread. Normal = this. Accept it & move on, waiting for hell to freeze over will take awhile.
Anyways Dweaver, you can join the rest of the 8000 some users that think I'm un-nice. I could care less.
Had you been here a tad longer than 4 months you'd know Tricky Ricky & his tricks. Anyways, you keep pointing out my un-niceness & I'll keep being a bitch. Enjoy.

I didn't say that.

Hmmm, what about keeping your worst thoughts to yourself? Common practice in the real world... unless forum etiquette dictates otherwise...
I'll keep being a bitch. Enjoy.
My point exactly.

You know nothing of how I am in real life? Why would you go on assuming I am not just as outspoken as I am on the forums? Seriously, get to know some antillians & you'll know we're outspoken as hell.My point exactly.
Which is none? You think you're the first to point out oh how so evil I am? Right.

Netherlands Antilles, you mean? I've met a couple last summer in the Olympics, and yes, they were outspoken. Especially the female one.
You think you're the first to point out oh how so evil I am? Right.
Maybe there's a reason that there were others before me... Food for thought, Jack.
Sat Apr 16, 2005 11:56 am
Then obviously he isn't going to change... why do you feel obligated to turn him into someone he's not? I'd hope that people on these forums know how to think for themselves, and if they're rudely spoken to, ignore it and move on...

You sure as hell met the wrong male ones then.

When it's coming from the likes of Homor, Lanky Man, Heido, Onyx & recently you, I tend not to pay any attention to it given...well, look at that list. (No, I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't know the half of them.)

So the right Antillian males are not outspoken? So what does that make you?

Tendencies 'tend' to bend over time. Give it some time and you'll see... One irregularity is enough.
Sat Apr 16, 2005 12:16 pm
Dweaver, why do you feel it necessary to challenge every "authority", senior figure here? Is it to prove you're a good lawyer, or that you can argue with people significantly younger than yourself?
Jae's been around forever, Jackal's been around a long while, obviously they are still around and haven't been banned up to this point. If the stuff they do is so bad, why are they the multi year vets who keep the forum running as good as it has been?
Seriously, I think you're an intelligent poster and a good contributer to the forums. But challenging everone is totally unnecessary.

Oh boy, here we go again. If I detect viciousness and moronic behavior, whether IRL or this forum, I speak my mind. Just my character, nothing to do with my proffession, really.
If the stuff they do is so bad, why are they the multi year vets who keep the forum running as good as it has been?
Counter-example: George W. Bush is the current President of the United States. Need I say more?
challenging everone is totally unnecessary.
It would be, if I was challenging EVERYONE.

A real antillian guy wouldn't have let you come close enough to speak with the women around him.
We keep the hotness to ourselves.Tendencies 'tend' to bend over time. Give it some time and you'll see... One irregularity is enough.
Here I thought I'd given it more than enough time.
Cameron, Mike, Riot & Cyanide, many thanks for the support.

He was in the bathroom while I took my time. Plus my then wife-to-be was safely away. Nothing actually happened other than plain talking, but she was really outspoken. REALLY...
Here I thought I'd given it more than enough time.
It's never too late to pick up new things. Unless you're an old dogg...

Actually yes, I'd like to know why you're including me in this (considering Cameron did mention me). I do find it pretty funny that the number of arguments I have with people here is significantly lower than the amount of e-fights you seem to find yourself in, but I'm guessing it's all for the greater good or something.

I never mentioned names, did I? Vicious you might be at times, but moron you are not, as I have already told you in the past.
I'm guessing it's all for the greater good or something.
I'll answer that as soon as I have assasinated GWB for the greater good,of course.
