Wooo, finally. (Y) (Y)

Clark already hooked up with Lana a couple seasons ago, but Lana left him.
Agreed with Chloe.
I don't think the stones were in the comic, i wasn't that into comic books though.

I started watching this about 3 months or so ago, and love the show. (Y) The name Smallville is such a monomer, and gives no clue to what the show is about. That's why I'm assuming nobody really knows what it is. I watch the one on abc family to get caught up, since they show episodes everyday, starting from season one. I also watch the one on WB sometimes, but it clashes with my other Wednesday shows, Alias and Lost. :x

the show's pretty popular here. i've watched the first season. got kinda turned off coz the formula for every episode was the same. there's always a guy with powers that he got from the meteor rocks and clark manages to save the day. they do progress the story parallel to that but come on. every show some weirdo pops out? i heard that it isn't the case for the following seasons but i never really liked the show very much since superman isn't really one of my favorite comic book characters. lana is still a hottie though...heird she's doing more "risque" scenes now

yeh i agree... in the 1st season almost every episode had some 'freak' with powers. a lot of the stuff was predictable

and you're right, the following seasons have gotten better: definitely the writing for the show has gotten much better. obviously they are milking this lana-clark thing but the lex's path to evil is the most interesting aspect of the show imo. the characters have more depth and the inclusion of louise lane spices things up

Clark already hooked up with Lana a couple seasons ago, but Lana left him.

yeh they did but it was for only 1 or 2 episodes. it's either chloe's stupid fatass gets jealous or bad timing like or horse stomping on lana that gets in the way
ruff- if you can afford it, i suggest you get the season sets on dvd. abc family doesn't show the episodes in order and you don't have to worry about commercials if you have the dvd's ;)

we all know superman will end up with ms.lane not ms.lana.........so lana is available for grabs

actually lana ends up marrying pete in the comics

Lex was my favourite character in that show (Y) and I thought Chloe was gorgeous so it's unfortunate to learn about her sudden expanding.

i never really liked chloe that much..she's kinda cute sometimes but nothing to go crazy about. and now that she's gotten fatter, it gets even worse. i saw an older show on tv where she was there and i think she looks much better. something about her facial bone structure kinda changed when she grew up or something

the whole season one formula kinda reminds me of how they use to do it in the old power rangers show. some freak shows up tries to destroy city. they fight with the power rangers. power rangers have some trouble at the start. then finds a way to destroy monster. rangers save the day. repeat for next episode...

Wow, I didn't realize this show was so popular world-wide.. I've always had the guilty-pleasure feeling when it came to "Smallville"... hehe

The show's getting kind of lame since last season but I still gotta watch it...

american shows are quite popular here. especially to the upper middle class people plus the local tv networks are syndicating a lot of shows all the time.

lex is my favorite character too (Y). i read in some smallville mag that the actor who plays lex (michael rosenbaum- who's played comedic roles in the past) turned down the role at first. and the lana character was casted first

interesting.. i think chloe is pretty nasty. i'don't find her particularly pretty and i'm not attracted to a book worm that's the jealous/nosy type. and the way she talks is annoying to me. maybe i just don't like her because she's broken up clark & lana :x

how is it a guilty pleasure? it's not a reality show or like boobies everywhere i.e- howard stern show hehe

figured i'd dig this thread up since i finally got to see the last 3 episodes
did anyone catch them too?

*SPOILER ALERT*
i thought the epsiode where lex's evil personality/alter ego/insecurities/ID takes human form was possibly the best episode so far. that scene with his father was chilling and the way they played the whole thing with lex finding out about clark's powers was done well. it was tragic that earlier in the episode lex and lionnel (sp) luther finally had the connection/understanding only to have get turned around by evil lex

that prom episode was allright. seeing lana dressed up in the end made it worthwhile haha. jason & his mom killing ms. crosby was a curveball! jason's more shady then i thought. lol lana sure knows how to pick them

i'll grave dig this again...

SPOILER ALERT (i'll try not to give too much away)

anyone catch the last 2 episodes?? I tivo'd both of them and finally got to watch them last nite

Last Week's episode was the best one of the season. It was about time they stop milking the whole "to pay the price- someone you love must die" decree by Jor-El

I thought the first half was almost too go to be true. The secret, the engagement, the election- too many good things happening. I was waiting for the bubble to burst

I was a little disappointed though with a few things:
-Lana making up her mind about the engagment just after talking to Louis. I thought there should have been more time devoted to her decision process considering in earlier seasons Lana was freaked out by the randomn people who were affected by the kryptonite and once told Clark she wouldn't know what to do if she found out one of her friends was an alien

-at the end that we're pretty much back to square one with Lana & Clark. It's nothing new here even if Lana was saying she wants the "Truth". Exactly what other truth are the writers implying she's looking for?? That Clark's banging fat Chole??

And I wonder what was on that photo Lionnel Luther had?????!!!

Obviously it had to do with Clark, but I can't recall any moments when Lionel had a shot to take a pic of him. Hmm.

Anyway, I can tell they needed to jump away from the storyline now by throwing in tonites episode, so I reckon it will barely progress what's happened so far.

Also, I'm wondering what would have happened if Clark told Lana his secret this time.

I'm not gonna read any of this thread because I've only watched up to the middle of series 4, so I don't want anything spoilt by you Yanks.

That being said, I'm well and truly addicted to this show. I "get" 2 or 3 episodes per day, and have been known to watch 9 episodes in a row (as I did with the end of season 3).

The high-school adventures of clark kent and his friends...a young man soon to become SuperMan. It's a drama/action show set in the backdrop of rural "smallville" Kansas and features many occasional cameos of well known characters from the mythos including louis lane, perry white, aquaman and the flash. (they need to hire me as part of the marketing team of the show).
