Thanks all of you but I need a lil' favor.How can i put a rookie in to my second dynasty year.I want to replace default rookies with the real one.Help anyone?

dbf edit with either dbcommander, nba live editor or excel (which is what I use because the other 2 don't work on my computer due to lack of .dll files)....

you basically need to edit the EA generated draftees' players' info in the players.dbf and their appearance in the appearance.dbf to get the faces in the game....go to the patching forum, I'm sure there is a tutorial up that will explain all....

I do all that and then that player which is replaced desappear.That would be good but the new player also desappear.New preview anyway.

I haven't patched since last year. This is my first patch for Live 2005, to top it off it's a bad Bhed conversion from Live 2003.

Tell me what you think? I did it in about 10 minutes.

Remember:
- never change the skills for a player before the new year
- After the new year u can change the vallue Deleted by false in players dbf.

Can someone make Shawne Williams, the HS prospect from Hamilton. He came from Memphis and I actually got a chance to play against him or at least my team did I didn't actaully guard him.

Lpasso, your patch's are brilliant, many props to the Garcia, I would personally (as said many times) love to see Rashad McCants & Raymond Felton, but my question is, are your patch's going to be released with Melloman & Co.'s '05 Draft Prospects Package? I haven't spoken to Melloman in a few days..... so I thought I'd ask you..... Cheers man!

Btw , maybe is kinda late to say this, but i'm making a small program for me and for mafia, the program updates the database, replacing the Ea's generated draftees for the real ones, sounds good

Here is the catch
The part of the names, positions, number ,date of birth, everything in the players.dbf will work for every dynasty out there, but the appearance.dbf, (with the heights, weights and portraits,) wont work, cause i need to know each and every player Id........
So if you all want, as soon as I finish i can release it, BUT YOU GOT TO EDIT BY YOURSELF the appearnce.dbf, cause is imposible to make a program who works in every dynasty

I took the draft position from NBADRAFT.net so the order is based in that list

Seraph there is no need to make an install, I am already pretty far in one. I am working on a complete draft pack with Mikki, LPasso, Melloman, and Homeboy. We already have pretty good project, and all the faces are very good.
