NRS Task - TEAM YINKA + TEAM WEIS....

Thu Mar 31, 2005 2:36 pm

Hey guys, you've got about 24 hours to get those tasks finished and PM'd to The Host. If we get them all in, I'll start the voting for it straight afterwards. Also, could the team leaders for each team PM me a short task report aswell... just something kinda outlining how the week went and what you all did to come up with the final result, thanks. Any team having problems getting their entrants in, let me know but really there's no excuse, 4 people doing something that's really not that difficult  also, if Team Retardo want their name changed just let me know.

im guessing we cant vote for our own team?

Thu Mar 31, 2005 9:33 pm

Yeah you can vote for whoever you want. It'll be in poll form.

I've received three entrants so far, Team Retardo, Team Kemp and Team Darko have all submitted. Still waiting on the other three. After reading the team report of Team Retardo, there might be a hint of controversy involved in the competition

im gonna be gone for two days in indiana, so if we lose (which we wont) but if we miriculously do lose, DONT VOTE ME OFF! 8-)

EDIT: actually if the voting lasts for longer then 2 days then ill be back before it ends anyways.

Because of the time difference here, what is the exact date and time of the deadline? Your first announcement for this weekly task came on, according to your post, Friday at around 2:00 am (my time?). I'm assuming that the deadline for me would be that time, right?

Yeah I won't be doing it to the exact minute or anything, as long as all of the entrants come in I'll be happy.

Fri Apr 01, 2005 4:53 pm

So far I've got entries from Team Rodman, Team Darko, Team Kemp and Team Retardo. I'm still waiting on Team Yinka and Team Weis to submit their entries.

you'll probally get mine today when i get home from school
but now i have to leave :x

Fri Apr 01, 2005 9:57 pm

No probs, I've gotta go home soon anyways so I won't be back online until then. If all of the entrants aren't in by the time I get online tomorrow we'll go ahead with the voting anyway.

Or give an exact time and date :)

I'll do that (Y) It's just hard because I'm in Australia and you guys...aren't. I'll check my PM's Mazzocchi thanks (Y)

Sat Apr 02, 2005 2:54 pm

I know what you mean, it's like a day ahead (or behind) in Australia. Maybe if there was some countdown timer via Javascript you could include?

Sat Apr 02, 2005 5:19 pm

I found a World Clock thing, so I'll just set the deadlines for whatever the time it is in the East Coast of the USA. I figure people from the USA/Canada/South America etc would have a better idea of what the time is there as opposed to what it is in Australia.

Sun Apr 03, 2005 4:04 am

There's a lot of Australians on the board too. We can't be too greedy  The world clock thing is a good idea, though.
