So, I can use the roster patches for direct/connect online?

I play usually with my friend from work, usually through direct connect.

I downloaded the roster patch and it is awesome for my single player.

How do I use the roster pach to play with him, if we use direct connection?

For Direct Connection games, I'm pretty sure that only the host needs the rosters installed and loaded, though I suppose it wouldn't hurt if both players had the roster patch loaded.

when you start up the game load the roster up
after u load the roster (if u are using the ea update patch) press the save changes button at the bottom of the save/load screen and it will have that roster you loaded up as your default roster from then on.
