PC: Can I take the roster patches for online play?

I just download the roster patch fromt his website for the PC version of NBA live. I usually play against my buddy from work, is there some way we can play together online using these roster updates?

I'm pretty sure you can't, I think EA doesn't make official roster updates for online players. I think.

Nah you can'y unless you do an exhibition match otherwise you use the default rosters
