Hi everybody

Talk about NBA Live 2005 here.

Hi everybody

Hello!

I'm from Italy and I'm a big fan of Nba live series games....

Got a problem that maybe you could help me to solve:

I would like to make Iverson making all kinds of dunks (360, back) cause in my opinion he's a great dunker..not such the rating that EA sports has given him in dunking parameter :(

I've tried to raise this parameter editing the stats but even if I put 99 on dunks he stills doing only one hand-dunk such as before...

Is there a way, a patch to solve this? I mean also for other players..

Thanks so much for your interest and...have nice dunks!!! :P
Cheers

Hello and welcome to the site/fourm.

You could try to edit the DunkPack for him in the .dbf's.
Check here for what different ones there are:
http://www.nba-live.com/nba2005/dunkpack.php

Use a program like DB Commander to edit the .dbf files...

Thanks a lot..Will make you know If I'm able to edit the Iverson file (not so expert...)

I am not sure but as far as I know it automatically saves. Or you can press the Go to record button and go to the record 1, that's what I always do, it saves the file...

Btw, welcome here.

Iverson mostly dunks with one hand and has thrown down some powerful one handed dunks (mostly in his first two seasons), but I seem to recall him performing some two handed slams earlier in his career.

yeah Andrew, you are quite right cause he's only 6.0 and of course in game he must fly over guys that often are 7-1 or 7-2! :D

So he probabily don't wanna risk making spectacular dunks....

but on the other hand he has a tremendously leap capacity, I estimate about 44"!!

Think he could win slam dunk contest without problems..only if he would to....

see these pics

So I gave him 86 in dunkability and 11 for Dunkpack...

In your opinion?

:D

I personally rate him lower because he doesn't dunk as much these days, and I don't consider him quite as good or creative as other smaller dunkers like Steve Francis. But if you're happy with those ratings, that's all that matters. One of the good things about having a video game we can customise is that it allows us all to play the kind of game we want.
