ISSUE #6 by Spencer Ravago
Hey. Just came back from Toronto where we added another win to our streak. Yup. The Charlotte Bobcats are on a winning streak. 4 to be exact. First, we played Miami where we lost by about 6. But after that it was all W's. We had to play Miami again the night after and surprisingly we managed to get the win. It was a great game for us especially during the first quarter when we scored about 21-9 to end the quarter. Further along in the game, our lead slipped to about 2 or 3 points but then we managed to finish the game with a win 50-56. I was hot that night. I managed to score 18 points, dished 6 assists and get 7 steals. Devean George was also hot that night especially behind the arc. I was looking to dish him the ball in every possession. He managed to score 13. 9 of them being from behind the arc. The Diesel had a so-so outing with 12 points. Dwyane Wade only got 4 points due to his injury. He only got very little playing time. Then we played LeBron and the Cavs. LeBron's 27 point outing wasn't enough to stop us. We beat them 61-51. My double-double of 12 points, 10 assists with 4 steals got me the Player of the Game award. Emeka Okafor also had a great night with 16 points. Here he is swatting a dunk attempt by Drew Gooden.

Then we flew to Minneapolis to play against KG and the TWolves. The game started off with Minnesota leading the game by a large margin. By the second quarter we managed to play a little better to reduce the lead to 1 by the end of the second half. We continued our good performance till the third quarter keeping the game close. Then, in the fourth, we heated up to beat them 68-55. Garnett only got 13 points and 6 rebs while Fred Hoiberg dropped 12 mostly from behind the arc. Emeka and I had great games with 19 and 24 points respectively. 'Meka also got 9 rebounds and 4 blocks while I got 4 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals. Then we went flew to the north to play the Raps. It was a very close and exciting game down to late in the fourth quarter. With 35 seconds left in the game, we were down by 1 point after a layup by Skip to My Lou. I tried to drive and dunk but was met by a block by Chris Bosh. The ball flew out of bounds. We tried the same play one more time and was succesful and we got the lead 60-59. In the next possession, Devean George was able to steal the inbounds pass and was fouled by Jalen Rose. Devean was able to make both shots giving us a 3 point lead. The following possession, our 1-2-2 full court press worked like a charm again. Emeka was able to steal the inbounds pass and he passed me the ball to get the intentional foul. I only managed to get one shot in. With 14 seconds left in the game and with being down by 4 points, the Raps made a quick play that ended up with Donyell Marshall getting fouled after a midrange jumpshot attempt. He managed to make both shots to cut the lead to two. The following possesion, I got the ball and then I got fouled. Only managed to sink one in giving us a 3 point lead. Finally with a few seconds left in the game. They tried to make a quick three point play from MoPete in the corner. Fortunately he missed, giving us the W with a final score of 64-61. I got 14points 8 assists 5 rebounds in that game while Emeka and Devean got 13 points apiece with Emeka also grabbing 4 boards. Chris Bosh scored 9 points, grabbed 6 boards and an amazing 10 blocks. Phew! Hopefully the streak will continue.

I also heard from my agent that McFarlane Toys is going to make my very own action figure to be included in their next set. I love how they make their figures so detailed like how they draw those Spawn Comics. Here's a picture of the action figure that my agent gave me.

It looks so lifelike. That's probably all for now. Kinda tired after that game in Toronto and the flight.

Oh yeah, before I forget. I was thinking I could also answer some questions you guys would like to ask me in the column. If I get enough question e-mailed to be, I'll be glad to include them in the next issue. Anyway, see you next issue.

ISSUE #7 by Spencer Ravago
Hey, how've you all been doing? I'm in my hotel. We just came from the MCI Center after a disappointing loss to the Wizards. We haven't been doing too well lately. We only won 2 of our last 4 games and the streak we had during the last issue ended at 5 wins. Our last win was against the Sixers. We beat them by about 20 points. I got 15 pts 7 rebs 10 asts 3 stls in that game while Meka had 18 points and 2 boards. AI and the gang didn't do too well. Allen and Willie Green dropped 11 pts while Chris Webber dropped 10. Webber got 11 rebounds though. Then it was off to Seattle where we got our asses beat in the 4th after 3 quarters of playing a close game. We managed to guard Ray Allen well in that game limiting him to 10 points but Rashard Lewis was unstoppable. It really pays to have a tall athletic small forward who can shoot the living daylights out of any team. Then we played a really close game against the Bucks. It went down to the last minute where they were leading by one. Luckily, Emeka scored off the break to take the lead with 56-55. Then they got desperate and kept on fouling us intentionally. The Bucks weren't able to catch up and we sealed the game with a final score of 59-55. Then there's the game we just played. It was a close one but their backcourt was killing us. Arenas notched 24 points while Hughes got 19. Hughes was dunking all over the place. Here's a cool one.

We lost by 4 points ending the game with 63-59. What hurts even more is that me and 'Meka were doing so well. I got 20 points 5 assists and 4 steals while He got 16 points and 10 rebounds. Anyway, it's time to get over that. We're facing the Sixers again. It's a pretty cool matchup since people are pitting me against Iverson and Okafor against CWebb. Oh yeah, I also heard that I'm going to get my own trading cards and it's going to be in Upper Deck's next set. Here's a sample that I got the other day.
Image
That's kinda surreal. I'm still not used to this kind of lifestyle. I still can't believe that I'm already in the NBA. Hopefully, a championship is not too far away.
