Depends on what you want to do with the team/who you want to build around/your style. You might like to build up your post players a little more, as that's somewhat of a weak spot there. Or maybe you'd like to get some better guards, although jalen rose is tough to try to trade.

try getting shawn marion hes a good inside player but hes a good 3 point shooter and good defender, and good dunker. hes probably the most all-around player in the nba. he will be tough to get but u can try trading rose and marshall for him and match up salaries. rose is good but old and so is marshall. if u can get marion and bosh on the same team that would be VERY cool

If one or the other team is over the cap, then the trades must be equivalent in salary to +/- 20%.

Let's say both you & another team both want to trade Bob for Doug. Bob makes $10M, Doug makes $5M. You cannot pull off this trade.

What you can do instead is:
Bob $10 milllion for Doug $5 million + Eric $5 million

The problem is that the other team now might not think that Bob is worth BOTH Doug & Eric.

This is why when you see big name trades, there are often a whole lot of unknown players also involved...to even out the salaries so the trade can go through.

Toronto is a tough team to trade with. A lot of OK players making a lot of money.
