alley up dunk problem

nice forum guys
I just started playing NBA05 and i am not able to win a dunk contest. Because I dont know how to do alley-up dunk?! I tried pressing all the butons on my keyboard but nothing will do?!
what do I do(press)?!

To my knowledge, in order to do alley-oops in the dunk contest you need to have a controller with two analog sticks.

Although I don't remember where, but I have read you can tweak the keyboard settings to do alleys.

Search the forums for that.

can we dunk all the 10,000 dunks combo which EA proudly parades at their website? IMO there's only about 100 of those dunk combos i have seen

you have about 180 degrees in angles you can take off from, so I guess if we consider every angle another dunk...

if u wanna do alley oops then u have to change some game files

go to my documents. there is folder named NBA LIVE 2005.

open folder named NBA LIVE 2005 and theres there are few folders. tka folder named configs.

u see in configs there is keyboard1

Open it with notepad and there are files named like that:

it does alley oops with 1 and 0 in numpad.


but if you want to change there numbers then do it.

@cock there is one thing missing after doing what you said you have to go to properties of file name keboard1 and select the option read-only
