No, in all cases, sellers will not send a product until they receive payment. That's the big risk I guess, you could pay for something and not get anything... that's why you look for sellers with high ratings.

I bought my XBOX on Ebay, I was so close to sueing the little bastard. He said it was a brand-new XBOX still in it's case. I got it A MONTH LATER! And it's in a cardboard box, hardly any packaging, the controller he sent me didn't work (looked like it is about 1 year old and has food all over it) and he sent me PS2 CORDS FOR MY XBOX! What the hell is that.

So I called him but he was never home, his MOM always answered it. Why do I have a feeling Alfonso (that was his name) is like an 11 year old kid? GOd damn, that was my worse experience on Ebay. I normally have good success but that Alfonso guy is a dick.

actually, if you bid on something and you decide you don't want it, you have the option to not buy it, but after a couple refusals, you can be banned from eBay.
