Game Preview

Place : The Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA
TV : TNT
Time : 7:30 pm

San Antonio (1-0) must take their revenge against the Lakers (1-1) since the Playoffs. Will the new Lakers win this game ?

LOS ANGELES Nov 05 (TICKER) -- The San Antonio Spurs against the Los Angeles Lakers... It reminds us of L.A.'s win against SA with the 0.4 seconds left... shoot scored by Derek Fisher... But now, the roster of Los Angeles totally changed. Some players stayed in California, like Kobe Bryant, Luke Walton, Brian Cook and Slava Medvedenko. First of all, the former coach, Phil Jackson, left Los Angeles. New coach Rudy Tomjanovich took his place. In the roster, Derek Fisher left the Lakers, he went to Golden State, Karl Malone left L.A. and Gary Payton joined Paul Pierce and the Celtics. Above all, the departure of Shaquille O'Neal at Miami was very hard... They recruited Lamar Odom, Brian Grant and Caron Butler, but will they be sufficient ? In San Antonio, Tony Parker's form will be necessary. Hopefully Bruce Bowen grew since his intensive training with Tony Parker. Duncan will have to play another big game. Ginobili's moral is perfect, he looks ready to win this game !

Tonight's key match-up :

Kobe Bryant vs Tim Duncan
Last year, it was Bryant-O'Neal vs Duncan-Parker. Hopefully Duncan will be able to stop Kobe if Bowen can't stop him. Tim Duncan is one of the best PF in the league, the 2nd, after Kevin Garnett.

Hey I've got bad news :
I'm a bit ill and tired, so I won't be able to play the game today, plus, my bro' will be back in few hours, and it takes some hours to write the game recap, interviews, etc... so I prefer to make these 2 things monday. :wink:

Like all week-ends, my bro' is on the computer the whole week-end but saturday I must go to my grandparents' house so I won't be here... Plus I have got some homework and it's kinda tiriiinnnng ! :mrgreen:

Yeah I know... but I don't think I'll be able to update now, I have too much work... Look at what I have :
1st : I'm ill, I always cough, every 10 minutes.

I can't stay 2 hours on writing the recap and play the game...

2nd : I have a book to read for next Tuesday so I have to read it... :evil:

3rd : I have too much work, my mom doesn't want that I play too much, because I must work maths and french and I think it'd be better for me ! :mrgreen:

So, check my dynasty when I'll post here next time, maybe there'll be a surprise... 8-)

(If only I could finish my book tomorrow... :!:

I'VE GOT BAD NEWS (sorry for using Caps but it really pisses me) :
I'm gonna stop the Dynasty because I was playing the game, and it crashed. It crashed about 5 times !!! I'll stop the dynasty but I will continue maybe in few weeks. :cry:

I always retried but it really bores me now, I'm tired to always redo the same games and the same games and the same games... Hope I'll find some free space in my Hard Disk, maybe it'll not crash...

Edit : Plus I was winning 47-39... :cry:

Edit 2 : I had maybe found the best graphics (it crashed because of my graphics), so it'll maybe work, I hope... :wink:

San Antonio wins the tip off. Parker passes to Nesterovic. The Spurs' Center dunks. Odom dunks over Duncan. Mihm rejects Duncan. Duncan takes the loose ball and scores a lay up. Atkins misses the long 2. Odom rebounds and dunks. After spinning, Parker scores a close shot over Bryant. Awesome shot by Kobe Bryant. At 4 on the clock, he draws Ginobili's foul and scores a 3 pointer. What a shot ! He will go to the line for one more. He scores it ! Mihm intercepts the pass. Butler makes the 2. Nesterovic misses the shot. Odom misses the shot. Ginobili, from Argentina, dunks. Bryant scores his 6th point of the game, a lay up. Duncan dunks after Parker's no-look pass. Butler misses the shot. Duncan is blocked by Mihm. Parker takes the loose ball and scores a lay. Bowen intercepts. Parker draws Bryant's foul and will go to the line for 2 shots. 0/2. Duncan grabs the rebound and dunks. Grant scores the shot. Parker loses the ball. Butler misses the shot. Nesterovic misses the lay. Bryant scores. Duncan misses the shot. Grant scores. 6-0 run for Los Angeles. Parker scores a lay up in traffic. Grant is rejected by Duncan but Nesterovic touched the ball so it's Lakers' ball. Bowen can't scores the open 3. Vujacic scores. Ginobili misses the hook-shot. Vujacic scores. Time out : Spurs. San Antonio decide to play his usual playstyle, the Post-Up with Duncan. He dunks over Mihm. Vujacic misses the shot. Parker scores the lay-up after 2 spins. It seems San Antonio's time out was really effective. No mark on Butler, he attacks the basket, Duncan defends, he wants to block his shot, but Butler avoid it... he just send the shoot out of bounds. Parker loses the ball. Butler does it again... this time he makes it ! Over Nesterovic ! Duncan with the facial over Grant ! Bryant sends his shoot out of bounds. Parker scores his 10th point of the game, a lay up. Vujacic misses the shot. Parker jumps 3 times but can't get the rebound !! Cook rebounds and scores. The shotclock is off. Duncan posts up but here's the Double Team ! He loses the ball and that's the end of the 1st quarter.

In the 2nd Quarter :

Duncan blocks Atkins. Atkins takes the ball and makes the shot with contact. Duncan misses the shot. Bryant misses the 3. Barry scores the long 2. Atkins scores. Rose dunks. Time out : Lakers. Grant scores. Rose dunks. Walton scores. Odom intercepts. Bryant dunks. Devin Brown jams after dribbling Walton with awesome steps. Atkins misses the shot. Barry dunks (the same as Brown's). Bryant dunks. Parker is fouled by Grant. Once again, Brown isolates Walton. He scores a lay up. Walton misses the hook. Parker delivers an excellent pass to Brown, open, for a 3. He scores ! Rush scores. Brown was going to the dunk but Rush fouls him. 2 shots. 0/2 but nice rebound by Horry, he scores a lay up. Walton scores. Barry misses the lay. He rebounds and misses another lay. Rush misses the shot. Anothe no-look pass by Parker, this time for Brent Barry for an open 3. He scores ! Atkins scores. Odom steals. Rush misses the 2. Rush steals. He can't make the 3. Devin Brown dunks during the fastbreak. The 3 was missed by LA. Horry dunks. Barry's good defense is impressive, Grant misses a close shot. Barry misses the 3. Horry rebounds and lay up but he's blocked by Odom... NO ! Goaltending. Miss by Butler. Barry scores a long 2. San Antonio keeps scoring and scoring ! Atkins misses. What happens to Los Angeles ? Barry misses the 3 at 1 on the clock. Horry rebounds although the Lakers box out ! He dunks. Impressive play by Horry. Finally ! Grant scores a bucket for LA ! The shotclock is off... Horry for the buzzer shot... He misses it ! That's the end of the 2nd quarter.

In the 3rd Quarter :

Atkins misses the 3. Udrih delivers a good pass to Bowen for a midrange 2. Atkins scores. Duncan dunks over Mihm and Odom. Odom scores after Bryant's missed shot. Duncan misses the shot. Butler scores. Ginobili scores. LA misses their shot. Ginobili scores again. Bowen tried to draw Bryant's offensive foul but he gets a defensive foul. Nesterovic intercepts. Nesterovic dunks. Butler misses the 3. Ginobili scores a 3 after Duncan's pass. Time out : Lakers. Grant misses the shot. Ginobili scores. Udrih intercepts Bryant's pass but Nesterovic misses the shot. Grant scores. Walton steals the ball. Bryant scores a 3. Ginobili scores a lay in traffic. Atkins scores a 3. Walton fouls Ginobili during his shot. 2 Throws. 2/2. Grant draws the foul and makes his shot, nice play ! He misses it ! Butler rebounds and lays it up. Ginobili is actually "on fire", he scores again ! Grant scores ! Parker loses the ball. Atkins misses the 2. Bowen scores an open 3. Kobe can't score. Parker misses his 2 in traffic. Brown steals the ball ! Quick play by San Antonio, Horry gives the pass to Parker and he gives the ball to Massenburg for a lay up. Butler scores. Odom steals but he's out of bounds. Parker misses the lay up. Vujacic scores a 3 ! The Spurs are only leading by 9 now !! Parker misses the open 3. Odom scores. Brown loses the ball. Butler scores ! What will happen now ?? Grant sends Brown to the line for 2 shots. 0/2 ! But Massenburg rebounds and scores. Phew, finally San Antonio score a bucket. Odom scores. Parker misses again a lay up !! Horry rebounds and scores !! Walton scores. Parker misses a lay !!!! Rush scores a 2. Walton steals the ball !! Barry steals but Duncan loses the ball !!! Walton misses the shot. Finally, Los Angeles missed a shot... Duncan dunks over Mihm and Odom. Time out : Lakers. What ? No time outs left for Los Angeles !! Good news for San Antonio, they've still 3 time outs ! Atkins misses the shot. Ginobili misses the lay. Butler dunks !! Barry saves San Antonio ! He scores a crucial 3 ! About 3:30 left to go in this unbelievable game ! Butler scores again ! 2:56 left... There's a lot of pressure now. Ginobili tries a 3... he's blocked by Butler !!! Grant dunks !! 2 points difference !! 2 FT for Parker after Atkins' foul. 1/2... Bryant scores, it's been a while he didn't score ! Bakcourt violation : Spurs !!! LA can take the lead !! Atkins scores !! Parker is out of bounds... Parker almost steals the ball !! Turnover by Los Angeles !!! Duncan dunks !! Atkins scores !! Duncan dunks again !! Atkins scores a 3 ! Duncan dunks again !! Bryant scores a 3 ! Time out : Spurs. Parker can't score... Interviews :

Tony Parker : I can't say anything. It's my fault if we lost. If only I scored every lay-up I attempted, we would have won for sure. The only thing I did was to deliver passes. That's all I got to say, sorry. I will practice and practice again.

Tim Duncan : I did a nice game, although we lost, Tony did a very disappointing game. It wasn't his day today, it happens sometimes... but Bryant's and Atkins' 3 pointers killed us. We were leading by 15 and we weren't able to win, I hope we'll win at Seattle.

Kobe Bryant : I'm very happy that we have won against San Antonio, we all knew they were hard to beat, but we caught up a 15 points lead, so we showed to all the NBA teams that we are still the Los Angeles Lakers.

Kobe Bryant was Los Angeles' clutch player with Chucky Atkins.

nice dynasty... one remark though. i can't seem to find a clear place to see the scores of your own game?

i might 've just looked over it, but it looks like i had to read the 4th quarter report to know what the score was, while all other played games are listed below.

great work though, i wouldn't be able to bring up the effort for this stuff
