online play

does anybody know y the game lags online? i have cable internet and a new video card so its not me. I had my ISP check my connection and everythings good. I also tried it with the firewall off and it was a little better but not much. Still a lot of lag. Can anybody help? I really wanna play online.

maybe its the other player ur playin against? they mite have 56k modem or bad internet

no cuz i played a person with very low ping rate and the problem persists

online play sux. i've never ever played a fluent online game of nba live. ever.

try turning down all your graphics settings, cause i have good bandwidth and a good video card but i still get lag if i dont turn them down

Do you really think, that the personal graphic settings affect the online play? I heard this often but I think it's a rumor because I don't think there is anything transmitted via online play that something to do with the graphics. I think only player positions etc should be necessary.
I played a lot of games online and I don't play with low details. The connection is sometimes laggy but often really good. I think, the connection speed of your oppononent, the routing to him and fastpath are much more important.

Yes, I can attest to the graphics being a lag problem. Of course, I am not running a superior gaming machine. I do have high-speed access though. Fact is, the game is smooth with my graphics turned down. I can keep my screen resolution the same, but I am sure that also affects it.
