Splitting the Dynasty Section

This has been suggested before, so I thought I'd gauge your opinions before making a decision. Should the Dynasty section be split into two sections: general Dynasty issues (questions about the mode, tips and tricks, editing, etc) and Dynasty stories. Your thoughts?

Sure why not, but couldnt general dynasty issues just be posted in the 2005 general issues forum?

I'm not really sure... I mean there have been a few threads popping up lately that would go into a Dynasty Issues section, but I don't know if it's really enough to maintain having a whole new section for it. I guess you could always put it on a month trial or something just to see if things pan out.

The point is that people who have problems with their dynasties dont have to fight through the endless dynasty stories to get their questions answered. What harm can be done if the dynasty section is split? I'm all for it.

i'm still all for it. and, as jae said, if it fails, could always just moosh em back together.

i think it would be nice though. if we can have four separate forums for different issues of nba live 2001 still, i think we can handle splitting the dynasty section for the current game into two.

As TheCambyManVol3 said, it would make it a lot easier for people that needs help with their dynasty.

It's a good idea. If it eventually doesn't work, or you don't get enough topics in the General Dynasty section, just remove it.

Give it sort of a trial run if you may.

heh, just kidding i don't care glad to see it getting mostly votes though.

I'm with Colin... both stories and questions for dynasty can go in one forum.

All this does is create more forums for you to moderate, more forums added to a forum that has billions of forums already, and it makes the forum list longer, thus taking longer to scroll down to general talk.

basically your only argument is that you would have to scroll for a fraction of a second longer? i'm not bashing anyone's opinion here- but just give a real reason. and in terms of 'creating more forums to moderate'....think of how many fewer double posts there will be, since every good 'techincal dynasty' question that is asked gets buried under 1,000 different dynasty story threads after a few hours, and then just gets asked/buried again a week later. i think that the split will make moderation delightfully easier, as well as make the general user browsing and functionality better.

I should have a bit more time to work on the forum for a while, this is one of the things I'll be doing.

Andrew has devided the section into two different sections; NBA Live 2005 Dynasty Issues and NBA Live 2005 Dynasty Stories

At Josh's suggestion, I've split the Dynasty section into stories and general issues for ease of browsing. If you want to post general questions or comments about Dynasty Mode, please use the Dynasty Issues section. For all Dynasty story threads, please use Dynasty Stories. We'll most likely be using this format for the new games from now on.
