This belongs in NLSC Issues...

Your sig will go away if you edit your profile, since the signature option is no longer there, so just don't edit your profile until it get's fixed if you so crave for having a sig...
And I don't know about the reason, I suppose it's the same thing that happen a short time before Christmas where we lost our avatars.
James from SGN managed to get it to work then after a few days if I can remember it correctly, and it shouldn't be any different this time.
