Do you miss hockey?

Postby iKe7in on Tue Nov 16, 2004 4:08 pm

I know this is a basketball forum, and most of you (especially the Americans) have not even noticed that there's none right now.

Personally, I'm lost without it. The Raptors barely fill any of the void, the NFL is only once a week, and the CFL is almost over.

Without Hockey Night in Canada every Saturday night, I'm left to just sit in a corner and hug my legs, rocking back and forth.

I still don't know if anyone else misses it as I do, or even at all.

Nope, glad it's gone. Yes everyone here, I am Canadian. On my dad's side my great-great-grandfather or something was one of the founding pioneers in Vancouver, and my mom's family has been in Canada since my great-grandparents. And I despise hockey. :D

hockey's only good during the playoffs, i don't watch it in the regular season unless they're trying to break into the 8th seed slot.. but yea im kinda happy hockey's gone, doesn't take up 99.9% of the highlights where i live, its fucking annoying.. now it's all football and basketball. life is good

I always got irritated when I was watching Sportscenter and they were showing NBA Highlights, and then it just skips over to NHL, and then back to NBA or MLB or something
Thats just me though

meh, i hate hocky, but i miss it because theres nothing to fill up the time on Sports Center now. Each morning i have to watch/listen to some human-interest story that i dont give a shit about.
even though i hate it... i'd much rather listen to hocky highlights
