Jesus is not the holy spirit, as it is in your equation. God is the Trinity (Father, Son & Holy Spirit), although Jesus is not God. Jesus was just a regular person that was given the honour of being a part of god and spread his message to the world, sort of an avatar of God if you wish.COOLmac wrote:because other versions imply that JESUS= GOD ALMIGHTY=HOLY SPIRIT
because other versions imply that JESUS=only a mere man
No, it's not that god is angry by default, he is all for the love of each other and all of that. But he was very vengencefull and would strike down those who opposed him and preform sins. That was in the Old Testament though, and was like that until he pulled a 180 in the New Testament and became forgiving and all of that (Side-question: If god is eternal, then why does he change (Old/New testament)?).COOLmac wrote:because other versions imply that GOD=always is and will be an angry GOD
But having doubt is a part of who we are, since we were given the freedom of choice (The whole tree of wisdom thingy) by god himself. And since we have the freedom of choice then we must also by default stumble across paths that we are uncertain of which we should choose. Then in that case why would God give us a feature that would be the work of the devil? (As you said: "doubt and uncertainty=devils handy work")COOLmac wrote:doubt and uncertainty=devils handy work=king of lies
There is no mention that Jesus = God in the Bible. I would say that Jesus was the closest to God, but he is, by no means the equivalent of God.
COOLmac wrote:Jesus is a God. the Holy spirit is a God. but they are not all equal. Jesus is a God? check this out
He didnt. it was actually the way/stories/teachings(old testament) before He introduce His SON Jesus to us(new testament). we are on the new testament Era which means we will be judge in the new testament. so we must be more keen in the new testament than the old.
particularly with God being active in the first, and very quiet in the second.
COOLmac wrote:GOD is the almighty so when He is almighty noone is mighteir than Him. Jesus is a God. the Holy spirit is a God. but they are not all equal.
COOLmac wrote:ok if you put it that way JESUS is god.but he is no GOD almighty. there is only one GOD ALMIGHTY that is the father and many other gods (that includes god of lies god of mischief and everything else that a human being can consider as his god e.g. cows/cats/dogs/bats/porcupines) both FALSE gods and TRUE gods.

"And this is eternal life, that they know you—the only true God." John 17:3
"You are my witnesses,‘and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me." Is. 43:10
You contradict yourself. First you say that there is only one god, and then you say that Jesus is a god. It can't be more than one, yet you say that both god and Jesus are gods. As I quoted earlier, in the words of God himself, "Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me."Saying that there will be no other god means that there will be no other god, even if you think that it is his son.COOLmac wrote:Jesus stated that only the father is the True God for all people to finally finish off their idolatry. which is correct. God the father is really the only true God and no other gods exist before him.no contradiction if Jesus as a son of God is also a God.
Again, Jesus is not Gods son, but he was the embodyment of the son (in the trinity). He is what you could call an avatar of god and was a regular person and was placed on earth to repesent god and spread his word/work. I suppose that you keep going on the Father/Son direction to say that Jesus was the son of God, but doesn't it also say that god is everyones father? Therefor you can't really draw that parallel to say that Jesus is the son of God and that he is also god, for if you do that you must also say that we all are sons of God and that we are all Gods...COOLmac wrote:Jesus is not a mere man........he exist even in Genesis. and He was made flesh to save us all. He got strip of His Godness and became as man. when He returned to the throne There He was made God again
Jesus was God's perfect human representative. Though he was completely human (Philippians 2:5-8)
"only one true God"? So you're saying yourself that Jesus is not a true god...COOLmac wrote:how do you explain that Jesus in a form of God.....found even in the very verse you stated:![]()
and jesus even not equal himself to God the father. that answers the question why there is only one true God(only the almighty) because noone is greater than Him(the son cant be greater than the father) but that doesn't contradict to Jesus being a God himself
I stick with my oppinion that we are all Gods sons and that Jesus was/is the same.COOLmac wrote:No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
John 1 : 18
so this explain why Jesus is called the begotten Son. because we are all adopted sons of God. Matthew 5:43-48 You have heard that it was said, `You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' 44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven;
. but Jesus is really begotten by God literally. the human form was just the avatar. but the spirit within was Jesus who existed even the creation with God because the spirit of Jesus is eternal and is a God
