TRADING PLS HELP !!!

pls explain to me how do i trade players.what does salary cap means ?
i play dynasty with lakers and i have -9 mil cap room , what is cap room ?

you need to get that positive, release some player(s)

Cap room in a nut shell is how much money you have to work with, like with trades. Like Dogg said you need to make that a positive number before you can begin to work with some bigger contracts. Unless you are planning on signing at the minimum

isn't is that when you do release some guys, their payroll or whatnot don't go away until their contract run out?
yeah. its hard to trade when you are under the cap. but if you can find a player that you want that is also along the same lines as the player you want to trade, like money and skill wise as well as interest, then it shouldn't matter and the trade should go through

i traded a lot in my nets dynasty (based on the carter trade)

i traded away kidd, jefferson mercer and some other guys for McGrady, A. Miller, Big Ben, Steven Hunter and some others.

my starting lineup is now

PG Andre Miller
SG Vince Carter
SF Tracy McGrady
PF Nenad Kristic
C Ben Wallace

this was all done with trading
though i was under the cap.

u just have to watch the interest, and that the salaries match, then u can trade for example a 70 & a 60 player for an 80 & a 47 player (if the interest is enough)

this works if (e.g.) the 80 player got a 10 million $ contract, the 70 a 7 million $, the 60 a 2.7 million $ and the 47 an 800K $ contract.

the 60 and 47 players are only traded to get the salaries matched, the main trade then still is the 70 for 80 player.

i hope that wasn't that complicated ^^

3. use the interest: if the bar is all green that's like +15 to the players overal rating
(not excactly sure about the last one but that's how it has worked for me)

imo most fustrating are situatons when there are good players in the FA,
but you don't have enough cap to pay them. that's just sad...

so.... i still can`t trade any players . i`ve made 100 trade atempts but no results , every time the team i trade with is sayng that they are not interested in that trade

You want to make a trade?! Fine, lets make a trade.

Start a new dynasty with Atlanta Hawks; go to trade section and select center Predrag D. at rating of 55, then select Chicago bulls to trade, select shooting guard Eric Piakowski at rating of 48. Click trade. I made that exact trade in my Hawks dynasty to free Predrag's contract one year sooner... if you installed the game correctly, and you bought the game legally, and you make the trade... it should work!

Let me know and I will post again to congratulate you on completing your very first trade.

Sorry, but that's bullsh**... An illegal copy of the game would match the original game in every gameplay aspect. You shouldn't be using one, though.

Try for a young PG, Wade will be good, but might be hard to get.
