it stems from something I said in a thread where this guy Dre Naismith was posting endless pics of women with huge asses. I said some of them looked like gorilla's (because they were fat and hairy) and he went nuts because he thought I was being racist.

I just bought Babyface's Face2Face album from a couple years back... it's a solid album with some very good songs like "There she goes" w/ Pharrell, "Wish U Was My Girl", "Baby's Mama" w/Snoop, and "What If". Too bad it didn't receive any publicity considering it was probably the worst release date ever: 9-11-2001

Have you ever used a song to shut someone up, like just made them listen to it? I guess I don't know how to explain it, but something like this:

I agree Matt Sorum is a much more talented then Adler.

But adler played awesome on appettite for destruction.

Axl's desire to go in a new musical direction more into the electronica genre was stupid.

The band has gone through 5-6 guitarists in the space of 10 years since Slash left. At a point they even had hte likes of Zakk Wylde, Dave Navarro etc etc.


And coolmac, stay out of this thread. You probably don't even know what 'dookie' means.

Greenday were a great punk band. They are good now, but their album is way overrated.

after they started to hate on bush i think they start to lose their coolness. yeah i know what dookie is. its what you step on outside your sidewalk when you were getting the papers out early in the morning.

sidenote: i have a band once played guitars(not lead) but who cares...that was in highschool. we werent cool then and we blew the earplugs out of our semi deaf principal.

actually i just didn't hear about greenday i love em. they are my heroes back then. made my songs punk and do this distorted guitar thing back in HS.then some other punk ass bands emerge. like the guys that sang AMERICANA or the pretty fly for a white guy, the 3 stooges who sang about some boy bands and even the band who loves mathematics. guess bj armstrong is getting old these days and punk is not suitable for old guys anyways. (not like rock where you can still get chicks even when you reach 60+ or something.....aerosmith/rollingstones/u2)

The Offspring and Greenday both came out at roughly the same time, but I think The Offsprings earlier work was far superior to Green Day's. Stuff like All I Want and Gone Away are genius.

mmmmm. ccome to think of it those were good songs. Offspring also have far more tv/movie appearances than greenday. but i think greenday is more punk than offspring. and offspring is really a much older band than Tre,billy and mike.
