- Player ratings updated
- Positions updated for better substitution patterns
- Some player data corrected
- John Stockton 2D portrait and cyberface by Kristo Vaher
- Hakeem Olajuwon 2D portrait and cyberface by Kristo Vaher
- Patrick Ewing 2D portrait and cyberface by Kristo Vaher
- David Robinson 2D portrait and cyberface by Kristo Vaher

A reminder that v1.07 will come sometime after the 13th (not the 14th!) when I get back from vacation. In the mean time, please post feedback, I'll catch up with everything when I get back.

SORRY FOR THE LONG POST
----------------------
Tony Allen needs a boost in dunking and jumping

Emeka Okafor ranks 1st in off reb per game, up his off reb rating

Ben Gordon is averaging .428 from 3 this season, boost in 3pt there

Why the hell does Shawn Bradley have a 99 for blocking?? he averages 0.40 blocks in 10 minutes

Devin Harris Ranks 8th in Steals Per Turnover and 2nd in Steals Per 48 Minutes, a huge boost there

Jason Terry said in NBA Action that DJ Mbenga could almost touch the top of the backboard, I don't thats possible with a 30 jump rating

Tayshaun Prince has a pretty good jumper, 58 fg is way to low for him

Rasheed Wallace 78 fg rating is too high, around 73

T-Mac averages .428 from the field and he has a 88 fg rating and he has a 84 3pt rating while he averages .328 from 3??

Fred Jones is starting to develop a nice 3pt shot. he averages .394 you should raise his 3pt rating

Shane Battier averages 0.432 from 3 and Mike Miller .447, both need boosts

Shaqs 95 primacy rating is a little too high, he doesn't take as many shots as he used too

TJ Ford is probably the second or third fastest and quickest player in the league, you should bump those 2 ratings up for him

Michael Redd hasn't been shooting 3pointers like he used to, lower his rating

KG's 75 fg rating is too low for him, maybe 79 or something

Kandiman can't block a shot and has a 85 block rating? also his def reb should be lower

Rodney Buford is a pretty good shooter, he's averaging something like around .400 from behind the arc, fg and 3pt up for him

Nenad Krstic passing ability is beeing compared to players like Divac and Sabonis, up his pass rating

Baron Davis averages .326 from 3, a 77 is too high for him

Dan Dickau broke out this seaspn and has been playing great 3pt and passing up

Lee Nailon has a good midrange jumper, boost his fg to about 67-69

Grant Hill has probably the second best midrange game behind Rip and he's avg .514 from the field, a 83 fg rating sounds good for him

Kyle Korver has a 89 for 3's? He good from 3 but not that good, around 84/85 sounds right

Shawn Marion averages 8.10 def reb per game and has a 71 rating while Amare averages 6.10 and has a 88? Something not right there. Also Marion Ranks 4th in Steals Per Game and 1st in Steals Per Turnover, raise his steal rating

Lower Steve Nash's 88 fg and 84 3pt rating

Ratliffs 99 for blocking is too high

Up Damon Stoudamires 3pt rating

I know that Peja Stojakovic is one of the best 3pt shooters in the world but he's averaging .390, so you should lower his 93 rating same goes for Ray Allen, he's averaging .377

Chris Bosh has a good mid range jumper and his fg rating should be around 70

Up Donyell Marshalls 3p rating, he's averaging close to .400

Mo-Pete is the best defender on the rapters roster, a raise in def aww there

Alstons fg and 3pt rating is too high for him, drop them by like 5

Gilbert Arenas too good to have a 72 fg rating

-------------

I think I have some more later :)

Nene still needs a DAware boost. 48 is far too low for him. At least 20 point boost.

Padgett can stroke the 3. If Ward has a 78 3 pt rating, Padgett should have at least that.

And excellent suggestions bennyblanco, I have to differ on 2 of them.
T-Mac averages .428 from the field and he has a 88 fg rating and he has a 84 3pt rating while he averages .328 from 3??

Baron Davis averages .326 from 3, a 77 is too high for him

Shane Battier averages 0.432 from 3 and Mike Miller .447, both need boosts

A lot of these percentages are taking good shots (the case for Battier and Miller) or bad shots (the case for T-Mac and B-Diddy). Put all 3 in a 3 pt shooting contest and I can guarantee you that T-Mac will win, with Miller and B-Diddy dogfighting it for 2nd and Battier lagging behind in last place. However, I do agree that T-Mac and Davis' 3 pt ratings should come down, albeit just slightly.

Also, on Korver, his defense is surprisingly not that bad. DAware should be low 60s. This isn't all too important, but Josh Davis, Korver's teammate can really shoot the outside shot. He didn't play much, but he showed he can drain the 3. FG around 68, 3 pt around 70. Pull inside scoring down to around 46, he does most of the damage on the perimeter.

Okur is averaging 12.3 ppg, I wouldn't call him a "big scorer". His offensive ratings are about right given the simulation engine and what can be achieved with various ratings. Jeffries I'll take a look at, v1.06 was a fairly quick update before I leave.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll consider them all when I'm updating the rosters for 1.07 (sometime after the 13th, when I get back).

Hi Andrew...

Okur have 7.5 rimb for game....but why he's have a low raiting? he have 53 and 64 in rimb...and other player that in NBA have a low media...have more of him?

for example... Battie.... have 64-77 in rimb and he have a 6.2 media in NBA....
Mihm.... have 66-77 and he have a 7.2 media in NBA...
Lorenzer Wright have 70 - 85 and in NBA have 7.0 media.....
Nesterovic...have 74 -78 and in NBA have 6.7.....
Danny Fortson have 90 - 90 and in NBA have 6.2......
and more other players.....

I think that Okur merits some more in rimb raiting because he's a good player with good hand touch.....
And he merits some more in FG and 3PTS ,

Pietrus' ball handling and dribbling need a boost, to somewhere in the 60s. He's not a great dribbler, but he certainly isn't so bad to merit the 40s rating he has right now.

I Think that Dhuon merits some more in steals....50 is low...i think that 55 it's good....

Hayes...is a good player i think that FG is more increases......

Jeffries...is a good defensive player....in this roster is too low in rating....and he have a good FG% , it's rating too low....

Joe Jhonson is a fast player 72 in speed is too low....i think that 79 it's perfect....he's a good rimb 5.2 media in NBA...it's good for his position.....
Ranks #3 in the NBA in Three-Point Field-Goal Percentage(0.454) it merits some more 80 in 3pts rating , if u made the comparison whit other players.....

Travis Outlaw on the Blazers has been reported in numerous training camp reports to be able to hit the outside J. FG to 58, 3 pt to 42 (both still very mediocre at best) and range to 23.

Khryapa (also on the Blazers) can dunk as well. From his NBADraft.net profile, "repertoire includes blowing past a defender for a monster dunk", so at least 50. Also, "his wingspan is huge which makes him a good shot blocker", so up his block to around 40. His DAware in the 20s is pretty bad...the profile also says that he's good at guarding in the post, just not in the perimeter, so I would up it to the 40s. Finally, it states that he has a poor jumpshot, so I would have his FG around 58 and 3 pt around 48.

Telfair has drained the jumpshot with consistency lately (the stats are misleading -- he lacked confidence earlier in the year, but something Cheeks told him as improved his shooting). So up the range to 25, and up the FG and 3 to 62 and 60 respectively. His fatigue of 75 needs to come down to about 42.

Joel Pryzbilla has been playing much better of late. He deserves a considerable boost. Blocking up to 78, OReb to 72, DReb to 81, DAware to 67, and Strength to 69.

gilbert arenas has really turned into a star player lately... i think the ratings on him that are the most different from reality are the speed/quickness ratings... it seems to be a fairly commons opinion around the league that gilbert is atleast one of the top few quickest/fastest players around

i agree with the earlier post about joe johnson being too slow, but 79 seems a bit high... i'd say 75 or 76 would hit it pretty well

i also agree with the jared jeffries comments made previously... he guards the other team's top offensive option pretty much every night (unless it's a PG or center)... he's done a pretty good job on guys from garnett to mcgrady

I think that Deng merits some more FG....70 is good but he merit's 72-74.....he have a good nice touch.....or increases inside score....

Gordon merits some more in 3PT shot....Ranks #9 in the NBA in Three-Point Field-Goal Percentage(0.436).....i think 85 is very well......

Jeffries merits some more rating ......

In the Cavs, Ira Newble is the starting SG while Lebron is the SF.
Take Sasha Pavlovic's headband off.
You should change the Nuggets' coach template, you still have to put George Karl's appearance in the game.

Vince Carter's rating should be up. His overall rating should be in the 90s. He's been playing unbelievable.

And like someone already said, Kidd's been doing a lot better with fgs and 3s.

I know that Peja Stojakovic is one of the best 3pt shooters in the world but he's averaging .390, so you should lower his 93 rating same goes for Ray Allen, he's averaging .377

Peja been getting horrible shots and still hitting a respectable #. His number of shots has gone down too. I think you should keep it as it is for now.

Jermaine O'Neill ranks 4th in points per game with 26.4, I think you should raise his fg and primacy rating.

Also, I found ridiculousy high blocking ratings:

Chris Anderson, 99
Marcus Camby, 99
Dikembe Mutumbo, 99
Adonal Foyle, 99
Samuel Dalembert, 95
Calvin Cato, 90
Calvin Booth, 90
Jerome Moiso, 85

none of them deserve a blocking rating that high, drop them by like 15 or something

Give Kyle Korver and Greg Buckner high socks, remove all the gear from Vince Carters right leg and give
him a team knee pad and a long calf sleeve on his left leg.

Also Mutombo has a 97 def aww rating, that would make him the best defender in the league right now. Lower it to about 80 or something
