Fuck image, it doesnt mean a thing. People will always criticise no matter what, even if you do good, they will hold you to you a higher standard just so they will have a shot at criticisng you still.
As for how many people sadaam killed, read this:
http://www.renewamerica.us/columns/voigt/040917
"We shall never know the exact number of those who perished . . . but they probably accounted for 150,000 — 200,000 lives. . . . [At one prison camp for Kurds] registration and segregation took place with a brutality reminiscent of Nazi death camps. Teenage and adult males were lined up rank after rank, and stripped of everything but their clothes, and interrogated. Beatings were routine. . . . After two or three days at the [prison camp,] all these males were loaded onto closed trucks. They were not seen again."
Thats just of the Kurds, who occupy a small part of northern iraq. And people still think going into iraq was a bad thing. Oh yeah, sadaam deserved to stay in power...
The media never shows positive stories. You have to really weed them out on the internet or in newspapers. The bottom line is the iraqi people wanted a democracy, and america (along with other countries) delivered and its irrelivent whether or not there were wmds anymore, becuase people now enjoy freedom and basic human rights that they deserve.
