NBA Live 2005 Editor v1.1 released

Isnt there a way to load a certain database file? Cuz it doesnt have it on mine I can tell you that. And what i mean is that I cant choose which save file I want to use.

I had the same problems you guys have. First of all I downloaded the wrong file. When you go to the gamingaccess NBA Live Download dont push the download button cause althou its called 1.1 is the the same program. The upgrade is where it says mirror site and it says "To downlad the update click here" or something like that.

The other thing is that you have to download the latest version of: "Visual Fox Pro ODBC" from microsoft. The link is in the NBA Editor Readme file.

Its working Great for me now.

Now everything works for me, except I still can't transfer players to the free agent pool. It says that a team can't have more than 15 players

Cant transfer to free agents pool

Also the majority of legends pool, rookies, sophomores are empty

If you have the Load teams option, is because you don't have the updated 1.1 version, the "Load team" option not are in the 1.1 version, so, try one of the two things that are writed below, download the full 1.1 version or the upgrade.

Please make sure that you have the updated version, this shouldn't hapened. if you have the option "Load Team" thi mean that you have the old version

in the 1.1 version you can, there is an option in "file" menu called "Load saved rosters" click here and you will need to select the folder where you have your saved rosters. after that you will be able to modify your saved rosters.

You can't have more than 50 players in "Free Agents" the game crash (At least in my case) when you have more that 50 players in "Free Agents"

In my dinasty saved database, I don't have any players in rokies, somopheres and others, this is not a bug, this is the database itself.

appreciate all the hard work diego.

i have dl version 1.1 and when trying to edit players, i tested editing players' names and get a message player "modified" when i save.

but, when i return to team screen, original name is still listed.

going back to the player screen, the original player name shows again like nothing was modified.

has anyone been able to edit player names? i definitely have evrything downloaded and am able to pull up saved rosters and edit ratings and save them. but i am unable to edit names. any feedback would be appreciated. thx in advance

yeah, cant edit names either. no nicknames either..

on another note, the "passing rating" is substituted with "dribbling rating". pretty big confusion there (had to restart everything...). also, no "primacy rating"

how come i cant add players to other teams, i.e. all-stars teams corrections and rookie sophmore

I don't receive any problem like you have, maybe is a problem with your databases, Read carefull that you can't use the character ' in your player names.

i did figure out a solution for my problem editing player names .

the modified names still do not show up on the team list immediately, but i saved all name changes and exited completely out of the program.

i reloaded the editor and the modified names are showing up on the team lists. thx again for all your work on this editor.

Thanks for the wonderful job you did with the editor. It is a fabulous tool. You might consider adding the following:

school name
more hairstyles
more accessories such as arm bands and wrist bands
nicknames
larger font size

the update file is an .php file how i install the update???

on second thought, i have no idea which is the "passing" rating. dribbling or ball-handling. one of em.

Im using version 1.1, i can edit the rosters downloaded from this site just fine. But on most players in my dynasty saved file. I get this error when trying to edit most of the players

cast from string " " to type 'Long' is not valid

the appearance and player ratings then all appear as zero values.

this only happens when i try to edit dynasty rosters

i appreciate any help you can give.

Maybe it has been discussed before ... I'm not able to open the editor. I am said the application could not be initialized. I also tried to re-install the application but the error stays the same. Can anyone help me? Would be great, thx

Hi Man and again Great Job. I think that of all that has been mentioned these are the two mayor upgrades for the editor that you should try un the next update.

1. The Mega Modifier whith the option to select what to modify for example, All Cs, all PFs, All SF, All SGs, All PGs and All Players and the posibility to associate this category to a specific team or all teams. Just in case I am talking about ratings and not names or nicks.


2. In the players ratings include more ratings like Primacy and passing ability, range, shooting area, dunk package, etc, etc.


Right now it is working flawlessly for me.

For you guys who are having problems try reading the readme file located at: Start,Program Files,Gamingaccess

And also upgrade your OS to XP SP-2 on the windows update page.

I take note of that. The nicknames are editables but only for these players that already have one.
