Well, in fact Im planning a roster patch, historic one, from 1979-80 season up until right now...
Now it has its limits. Ive began some sort of work on it of the first season. Beginning with 79-80, creating all players ingame Create Player (not adding cyberfaces, yet, currently creating every face similar to that of their real life one in the face editing tools).
However, as I said it has limits. Creating everything since 79-80, season after season (based on after deadline rosters), is extremely time consuming. One player takes about 5 minutes. Its about 28 hours per season (!). And there are about 25 seasons. Now these 5 minutes per player include the creation of somewhat similar face, body, basic accesories (mostly short-length shorts), basic info (no birthplace nor college nor such, a year calculated from 2005 (Larry Bird born in 1980s then in 79-80 season). Player ratings are mostly based on their real life stats. Currently Ive just got three teams done, the Celtics, 76ers and Knicks from 79-80.
Idea would be to finish this one season, then begin with the next one my trading players in the league and creating the new ones (moving non-playing ones to free agents pool or deleting less important ones). Next season would require editing every player again, changing birthyear and editing ratings according to their stats change. All in all this is extremely big load of work and for one man I doubt I can do it...
So if ANYONE WANTS TO TAKE PART in this project, it would be AWESOME and possible to do. THe idea would be for me to write down general guidelines what a team shoudl have, and then every other partner in this project would get a team or two to create. Aka use stats and guidelines and find pictures of the player in net (which aint easy for many bench players), then send me the team list with stats guidelines. It would save time massively and there could be a season out in just a week or so. And others would come faster.
But yeah, anyone willing to become a partner in such a project? If not then this will never happen, for I dont have the time to do it all by myself...
(btw I just learned what a prospect Bill Cartwright was in his rookie season

wow

)
Oh, btw, MJ Decade cyberface pack has become recently the most downloaded cyberface patch at NLSC by zooming past the magic number of three thousand downloads. For a patch that was for a couple of days released here as a direct link before at NLSC downloads, it sure is a good number to my ears. Thanks everybody
