Hall of Famer Comparison Tool for your Team MVP?(PC)

Talk about NBA Live 2005 here.

Postby HonorGlow on Mon Nov 08, 2004 3:46 am

Alright, thanks HuskiesCeltics! I must have been pretty blind the first 20 times I looked in that area.

Okay, as you can see in the thread heading, you can now convert your pstat file yourself(something that Donatello always wanted) into the NBA.com efficiency rating and ALSO compare your Team MVP with a Hall of Famer!

The Hall of Fame comparison list is only 20 strong right now but will grow as I find more time!

Let me know how this works for you guys!

Donatello: If I gave the option on the tool to have the results e-mailed to yourself/whomever, would that be a function that'd be helpful to you? (ie online league stuff?) Please let me know and I'll add the code eventually here. (SkipToMy_Lou, thanks for the idea)

Cocobee: Yes yes I did receive the stats Thank you! What's his NLSC name? He'll be the first on the 2005 Birdie Board...hopefully coming in Two weeks. I'll be bugging you later on this week to get an action shot of his Team MVP?

...my brain is a bit friend so my writing skills aren't at their peak right now.

i think i'm going to stay out of leagues this year, i tried to start a tournament, but recieved little interest- so i'm going to focus on my dynasty this year. that sounds like a really cool idea- hopefully someone else on the board who is gonna run a league will catch wind of it

I was just wondering if any body has tried using the pstat tool yet? I'm just curious to see if the Hall of Fame function is working decently for you guys.

Let me know! Thanks!

Hey Donatello, thanks for checking out the Tool! I was wondering do you feel that Jefferson's stats are bit 'inflated'? I was wondering if you could send me your current pstat file to honorglow@livedynasty.com so I can double check my work?

ALSO Donatello, I'm taking up your offer to help out with projects on Livedynasty.com...as I am getting behind on some stuff to get done, that's why I was wondering if you got my e-mail. If you're interested, e-mail at honorglow@livedynasty.com and let me know what you think are your biggest assets or what you can 'bring to the table' I'm excited about the possibility!

Sorry about that Micchy_boy, (that's something I better clarify somewhere) Hall of Fame comparison's is only available via the pstat file(the form on the bottom) I'm sure if I'm going to do it for Box Scores as that only represents one game whereas pstat at least somewhat represents your players' seasonal performance.

But PLEASE, enter your pstat file and let me know what you come up with.

LegoDonatelloForPres, I think I may have just responded to your message so it may have been in your old account...anyway, I'll be waiting for your email!

Thanks paradizecityz for checking out the tool, there have been talks with Cocobee to install a 'Cocobee's slider tips' for the tools so that it'll pinpoint exactly what slider needs to be 'toned down' just another one of my livedynasty.com projects.

Micchy, thanks for pointing out the error in my post, I corrected it…Imagain if you did have Okafor on your team

Acctually, not (that's what's the beuty of this tool… :D ) you can check it at any time, JUST make sure that you input the right amount of games played, when it prompts you for that question.
