No-Call fouls and adjusted shots?

I predominantly like to dump the ball into the post to get a close shot/dunk or draw the foul.... but the game does not understand the concept of the restricted area foul... so what happens is my guy goes into a weird animation where the defender flops and my guy puts up a wild adjusted shot....
sometimes those wild shots go in and i get a "and 1" call... but sometimes they just roll off the rim and cant recover for the rebound....
does anyone know the proper way to control those wild shots? perhaps moving the direction joystick in a certain direction... or holding or tapping the shoot button....

You can't change the actuall shot after it's been initiated...
But what you can do is raise the slider for the adjusted shots and they will go in more often if that is one of the things that you are looking for.
[edit]: You can ofcourse also turn up the different sliders for the fouls (Like 'In-Air collision', Charge-block foul and so on)...
