Cant play the game at all

I got NBA live 2005 just a few days ago from a friend
I installed it and everything
when I start it up at the main menu, the screen goes white, and only the music bar shows
after a few mins it goes away
and i start to play a game and it just closes
here are my specs
1000 MHZ
256 Ram
P3
Rage 128 Pro Video Card

first of all, 1 pm is more than enough, and even not needed as me and paradize check the forums quite often. so don't mail me about a pm about another pm :roll:

secondly, I dunno how this problem got fixed, you'll have to wait for paradizecityz to read the thread, so please have a little patience.

also, please post your PC specs, this helps greatly in determing what can cause the errors.

i am really sorry, it is just frustrating when you just wanna play a game, and it just freezes up on you. These are my specs to the best of my knowledge:
2.40GHz
32MB ATI Rage video
256MB RAM
Windows XP
DELL Machine

If anyone can help, please send a post.
