No Music in Main Menu?

When i first started the game I went through the intro movie, etc....then when i get to the main menu, no music plays and the game crashes whenever i want to either load something or play any type of game, does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I have the exact same problem did anyone reply to you because this is really annoying. I don't want to reinstall the game because I have worked so hard on my dynasty. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

reinstalling the game doesn't mean you lose your savegames. savegames are in the my doc folder and are not deleted when you uninstall. I have no idea how to fix this except reinstalling and maybe looking for newer audio chip drivers?
