game won't install

i got live 05 today but it wouldn't install. it installs about 20% then it says error transferring xcrowd from cd. but i've checked everything with my cd and there's nothing wrong with it. my specs are
dell dimension p4 2.8 Ghz, 768 RAM, 80 GB HD, Nvidia 128 MB geforce FX5200.

You have to check if the CD is scratched or if you burnt it correct and i hope your not illegally having it. If its Retail Bought return it and get another one or get money back.

try installing from another drive if you can.

Download the D-tools (daemon tools) and install the game with that program...
i had the same problem like u but when i downloaded the d-tools then the game installed perfectly.

I'm assuming you bought the game, not downloaded it...

yea if u bought the game, i would of tried the cd on another computer or if you dont have another one, i would just return and get a different copy, if the new copy does the same then maybe somethin wit ur computer but i doubt that, sounds like cd got a problem
