Dynasty Mode

hey.
is there a way that I could:
1) play only with 18 costume teams at the Dynasty Mode?
or
2) change the current 30 teams to 30 of my costume teams?

if so, how?

1 no, 2 no, just those 30 teams can be in dynasty mode, just that simple

I have, I think, Nevermind thats Season. Bt i think you can disable other teams in Dynasty.
And Load up the roster with Custom Teams on it and then edit schedule and logos and etcs and start dynasty.

how should i do it?
throw the DBeditor or in the game?

and in what files?

you need to edit the teams.dbf file
change teams names as well as teams abbrev and teamsabr2
check out my roster patches for changed teams.dbf files:

just open one of my teams.dbf from those rosters and take a closer look on it.

oh, so i just need to change my team ID to 0/1/2/3.... ?
(instead of 61/62/63/64...)

just give it a try. if you chose team IDs 0/1/2/3.... the CPU will simulate with the original NBA schedule.
you can change the mentioned abbrev and teamsabr2 to get other logos ingame and on court, too.... and you can change the team id there as well.

if you want to rename the stadiums and the locations. open the location.dbf and rename the stadiums there.
