Is there a way to undo a trade?

Can you undo a trade in real life?

If you wanted to and it was as soon as the trade happened, yeah. Look at Dodgers with the Yanks and Dbacks..

plus the trade was not official w/ Randy Johnson, it was just a rumor that everybody thought was going to come true but the Dodgers decided right before it was made official not to.

Different sports, but the same trade scenarios.
And could we get off that, and answer the question?

I guess so...
I think if you go to the trade screen when you're first proposing it and hit "Propose Trade", you can press Back (whatever that is, I'm using the Xbox version) and it'll cancel the deal. If it's something you've proposed, and clicked to go forward (or Start to go forward, whatever) that confirms the offer and you can't cancel it.
Edit: What I mean by that, is if you go to "Propose Trade" and it says "You'll receieve a message in your PDA etc" you can still cancel that deal by pressing back. However, if you've already pressed start and go onto the screen with Schedule, Roster Management etc it can't be canceled. I guess you could always try and trade the same players back to the other team.

Like he said once you have hit the start button its all but done, EA should bring back the chance to except the trade or change there mind.

Don't save and reload your game.
Sun Jan 09, 2005 11:24 am
^^^^ That's what I do sometimes. I check out and see if a trade would work, or something else would work or not, and if not, I just quit out of it without saving.

I've done that, but I saved after doing the trade, but before it was accepted by the team. So I released the guys I was going to trade so the trade wouldn't happened and just signed them.

If you're playing the game on the PC, you could edit the database. If you're playing on the console, then there's nothing you can do if you've saved after making the trade.

remember lakers-bostn trade they redid part of it. boston didnt giv marcus banks and the 2nd rounder, instead they only gav jumaine jones

. thats 1 instance in where a trade was changed after it was completed.

Jumaine Jones is the man.

I have done this once before but it doenst work everytime
If you trade John Bron for Rick Dick
and then Rick Dick is on your team
Just offer Rick Dick back for John Bron again
But with a guy named Rick Dick on your team you are bound not to lose
