How do use the r stick for nba live 2005. I know it is for freestyle but is their a specifici tuturiol to tell what each movement does. Also can you use it on defense too.

theres the simple ones. if the ball is in ur right hand, and u press to the left wit ur right analog, then the player will bring it up to his right. if its on the right and u press left, he goes under legs to the left. if the ball is in his left, and u press right, he crosses over to the right. if u press left, he brings it out to his left. then if ur runnig str8 and press up he spins. then there are like 5 others, like behind the back, cross over, and others... that i havent figured out how to do. jus play around in practice mode and try to find them

On defense, move it to the right to attempt a steal with your right hand while moving it to the left will let you attempt a steal with your left hand.

If you hold it up, you will do a hands-up . It is used to contest a shot but it is more effective to use the block button to contest a shot.

Holding it down will let you be in a defensive stance (bends lower and wider feet). Last year, it could be used to entirely lock down an opponent. This year, it isn't so effective because now the CPU can shoot the ball off the dribble.
