I'll just kick it off with a pic of my favorite character.

yes you can honestly do just about anything in this game. for example....

i bought a fishing pole, and a bobber, and learned the fishing skill from a trainer. So I went fishing- and after some practice I can catch fish reguarly. I then learned cooking- and bought recipes to be able to prepare different kinds of fish. Then I learned how to make a fire in the wilderness so I can actually cook without having to find a fire.

After I cook the fish, i can either eat them to regain health, or sell them to another player or a vendor.

Fun stuff :D And that's just extra stuff- there are lots of quests (over 2000 already, with more being added all the time) to do, also............but you don't have to do them if you don't want to :D

Can you become an NBA player, attack a fan, smoke weed, and pick up a hooker on the way home?

Err....I play StarCraft Online...the new Halo map pwns. However, my friend plays Warcraft and he seems to enjoy it a lot. I think it is very funny - the voice acting is awesome. Anyone who wants to battle on StarCraft sometime - just PM me and give me a time.

i spelled it wrong up there  it's spelled Gryphon in the game....but yes, you can ride them. Think of it like a taxi- they take you from place to place (for a fee) so you don't have to walk there.

Update:

Melwing is now level 13.

I started a guild called "Fellowship of Beyond" dedicated to group questing/exploring/adventuring. Just opened today and already has 22 members. :D

Why don't you make tauren! I played this game pre release, and it was fun. Dwarves... pfft. I had the best of times. :D Nothing like a raid gone awry, 30 dwarves chasing you into the ocean.

P.S. eventually I'm going to try to upload and show you guys a bunch of wow pics from my experience (which was during the beta). I have one right here I just converted, I thought it was kind of funny. Most of these pictures are from the end of the world party when the beta servers were about to go down for good... I was undead and I ran, jumped, stowed away, and swam all the way to the human land to party. :D

hahah yeah i have an orc that lies dead on the road from northshire down to goldshire, i wake him up occasionally to kill cows and chickens. i want to kill that little bastard joshua every time, I right click him even though I know I won't be able to....heh..oh, i didn't know that undead spoke the common tongue! i guess that makes sense, though. when you went to goldshire with him did you come up from grom'gol or did you come south?

*edit: i guess it might be a testment to my skill (haha) that i got a level 2 orc all the way to human lands :D

To be honest I don't remember. :( All I know is I traveled wayyy down to Ratchet, rode the boat to booty bay, and from there I don't know if you can still do it, but back then you could avoid fatigue by just jumping it out, so you would basically jump off the docks at booty bay and swim along the coast to the lighthouse. From there I just avoid the monsters and guards until I can get to goldshire. The problem was there were guards where everyone was dancing. I even tried to respawn in the inn, but the guards sniffed me out and killed me. :(

I was looking through some more pics from my final adventure in the stress test, here's a pic of me intercepting human battle plans. :D It's good to know common.

yeah if you go within the actual city limits they'll get you every time. gotta stay just outside goldshire in elwynn forest. i also have tried ressurecting in the inn, but i think the guards are a little TOO good in that respect. they just instantly know that you're there even though they're outside. i think someone should have to yell, or alert a guard first, when you ressurect inside.

EDIT: notes on that screenshot: how did you make it almost into stormwind?? great job.

update on melwing:

yesterday i worked hard on his engineering, got his skill up to nearly 100 (Started the day at 0, zlich, nada), he can now make rough boomsticks (guns), dynamite, and lots of other fun stuff. progressed to the rank of "Journeyman" in both engineering and mining. Today I'll be working on those a bit, as well as getting my fishing and cooking ratings up a bit. I'll also be hardcore trying to get to level 20, with the help of a few guildsmen. I'm sitting at 17 right now.
