In Game Resolution

Does the "In game resolution" affect how smoothely the game plays? Can resolutions too high make games crash and freeze?

High resoloutions wont make the game do anything wierd. The game would lagg if you use high resoultion and ur comp cant support it.

Well a 1024x768x32 made my game crash and freeze/lock up constantly. When it was set to 640x480x32 and 800x600x32 it didnt.

strange, prolly has something to do with your graph.card then. Is it overclocked?

yeah i just switched to using my on-board graphics (intel extreme 64mb), and it can't handle 1024x768 anymore. i'm using 600x800 or whatever now.

I have a GeForece FX5700. I thought it could run 05 on 1024x768x32, because 04 ran smoothly on it.

It has to be the video card cause i tried running it on the higest resoultion and the game crashed. I have a old video card so thats why it happened
