Which graphic card?

Tue Jan 04, 2005 7:08 am

Hi :!:

Got a little problem:

I have a quite old system (1 GHZ CPU). But I would like to play nba live 2005 on it. Graphic details would be not very important – just the game! :P

My question is, which graphic card would be the best choice for me. I don’t want to spend much money on a card, which would be too good for my system.

Could anybody please give me a clue :?:

thanks

What card do you currently have?

Just get a good 64MB VGA.

I have a GeForce2 MX 400 64MB and its cheap. Game Play Is Extra Smooth but its on Lowest-Med Graphics. Lowest graphics is actually better htan some of the older versions of the game.

This comp i have is 900 Mhz ( The Speed of comp doesnt really matter when determining graphics... Besdies the Bus Speed.) And my other 1.3 Ghz run Smooth.

get Geforce 4 Ti4200 64 mb and run it at maximum details, still smooth, well thats on my computer... (Y)

How Much is it? Mine cost 30-40 Bucks on retail which is cheap as hell. He isnt worried about Graphics remember that.

I say its stupid to spend 60+ Dollars on Comp Stuff. Espcially VGA. I actually go outside so really no point for me to spend 60 bucks on a card for any video game but thats me.
