Be more specific about the graphics card that you are buying. If you've been reading through the preivous posts here, there are many 128mb gfx cards that could play NBA Live 2005 smoothly.

nVidia has the GeForce 6 series, GeForce FX series, GeForce 4 MX series, GeForce 4 Ti, GeForce 3 series, etc. ATI has it's Radeon series. Good/best buy Radeons start at the R9550 models.

Be sure that when you buy a card, it's not just a 128 MB. It should also be a 128 BIT or higher. The higher the memory interface (BIT), the more expensive it is.

a GF2 will not have 128mb. Get a Ti4200 like Paradizecityz has talked about in his own thread.

yes, the Ti4200 is very nice, i only got the 64 mb one too so just spend a lil cash and get the Ti4200 128 mb and you can run it at maximum settings (Y)

If you are getting it for free...just plug the dam thing in and try it out! But a 9200 will work just fine.
